Very cheap accommodation. Great location. Very nice staff. Room facilities were poor, and the room was small. Good thing breakfast was included even though it was simple. I think it's ok for the price

The only good thing about this hotel is the view from the deck. The rooms are small and there is not TV, the bed was old, tiny and noisy. The breakfast was poor, the coffee tasted like dirty water, there is not food variety and they give you only one croissant per person. The restaurant was very expensive and the food was not good at all. Patricia was the only staff at the front desk who was nice and helpful. I do not recommend this place at all. They call it hotel but for me was just a cheap hostel. Also, they messed up my reservation and they wanted to change my room with a lake view to another room with a tiny window with view to the back of the property. I left one day before because I did not want the other room. I wanted to leave earlier but they wanted to charge me two days if I leave. NO RECOMMEND IT!!

This review is of the Restaurant inside the Hotel La Angostura. Is not about the Hotel|The restaurant has a beautifull view and the seats are confortable. The resturant is very good and the service is also good. I had the ravioles of lamb with a crean sauce. Excellent. The other plate ordered was a trout with a creamy sauce. It was also good. The deserts were fine and well. No to expensive, excellent view.

The rooms are comfortable but basic, though the property is spectacular, especially walking down to the lake in the morning just breathtaking! Breakfast was prepared with lots of care, homemade medialunas and great coffee. Good value for money, we would stay here again!

The ultimate Villa la Angostura vintage experience. Rustic charm reigns all over the place, almost frozen in time. Excelent location and unique view over the classic Bahía Mansa. Modest, affordable and clean. Staff is very polite and friendly. This hotel is a truly part of the local history, built in 1938 by renowned architect Alejandro Bustillo.

I stayed here for just one night as part of a large group on a charity cycling trip. We cycled here from Bariloche and were very pleasantly surprised to find a delightful garden with an incredible view of the lake. It was perfect for relaxing with a cold beer after a long day in the saddle.||||I shared a room with 3 single beds and although it was cramped, it was comfortable enough and had an en-suite bathroom. It was quite acceptable for a night and I slept well.||||They provided a 3 course meal in the evening for us and the food and wines were enjoyable however breakfast was less impressive.||||You would soon get bored here if you stayed for more than a couple of nights as it felt a bit isolated and the facilities were limited. I would recommend it to couples, families and groups for short stays. The view from the garden was stunning.

It was an ok hotel. We were a group of 31 cyclists and commenting on the food is probably unfair although it was ok. The room had a wonderful view but the shower and toilet was dripping and noises. My room mate had to call in the manager at midnight as she couldn't sleep for the noise of the bad plumbing but I happiky slept through it all. Comfy, warm, and a beautiful site albeit no we here near town.

The setting of this hotel is really beautiful, and has an old feel about it. Would probably be my favourite stay in Argentina if it wasn't for a few things.|The staff speak no english, when we checked in we were just shown the room without any information around breakfast/check out. Very noisy at night with the restaurant downstairs, and floors are creaky. Some basics missing from our room, and the breakfast is limited and doesnt get refilled... So we arrived an hour before the end of breakfast and there was hardly anything left. |Small details could make this hotel amazing.
