Hotel Anticos Palathos

A beautiful and unique hotel in an excellent location. The room was spacious (we had a ground floor room next to the breakfast terrace) and the staff were really helpful. We paid £5 per night for a private parking space 5 mins from the hotel (organised through them) and that really helped us out! ||Cons were small - we only had a few coffee sachets for our 3 day stay and they weren’t refreshed. I previously stayed in a hostel where coffee was available all day so would have been nice to have a few more for the mornings :)

A beautiful, calm & enjoyable 3 days there to start the trip off in Sardinia. My and my partner had the perfect time there, everyone was incredible kind and welcoming. Great wine, breakfast & service. A specific shoutout to Andrea - we got stuck in the old-town streets with a rented 4x4 late at night. As you may imagine this raised tension levels but he resolved the situation with a calming, respectful & enjoyable manner. He genuinely saved our evening and set the best tone for the trip.

Fantastic second stay at this beautiful historical hotel. Exceptionally warm reception. Would recommend to anyone looking for a true Sardinian experience. Thanks Andrea and Maria Teresa and all the other people who made us feel so welcome. You were wonderful and we will be back.

Beautiful old hotel with charming architecture. Very quiet in the off-season (though some rooms face the main road and may get a fair bit of noise). The 'matrimoniale superior' room was spacious but the bathroom was not ideal. Partly this is due to space constraints of the old building, but the fittings could have been significantly better too. Breakfast is okay, not bad but also not the best I've had. Staff were generally helpful and spoke good English.

Lovely 3 night stay in October. Perfect central location, nice old building with quirky room decoration. Staff very helpful and friendly plus good breakfast buffet. Dropped one star because our room (Corolla) smelt quite smoky from the chimney.

Nice little hotel in the center of Orosei, with uniquely designed rooms. They have private parking 500m from the hotel, but you can park in front of the hotel temporarily to unload/load luggage. Very nice customer service, kept in touch with us by WhatsApp. There are several stairs, so if you have mobility issues, it might not be the best choice.

Me and my family stay in the hotel last weekend for 2 nights. It was important to find a nice place because my Mum celebrated her 70th birthday in Orosei. |The staff were super friendly, helpful and also great service. As it was 7 of us, they even made a little separated area for our breakfast. I really liked the cleanliness of each room too. |I got a hint for a local restaurant from the gentleman at the Reception , my Mum was very happy with her special dinner.

Staying here was the most wonderful experience. The facilities are adorable and clean, but the staff truly made our experience. They went above and beyond to help us plan our dinner reservations and daytime activities. Also, the morning breakfast buffet was delicious. I cannot recommend Hotel Anitcos Palathos enough!!
