Hotel Anticos Palathos

Beautiful old hotel with charming architecture. Very quiet in the off-season (though some rooms face the main road and may get a fair bit of noise). The 'matrimoniale superior' room was spacious but the bathroom was not ideal. Partly this is due to space constraints of the old building, but the fittings could have been significantly better too. Breakfast is okay, not bad but also not the best I've had. Staff were generally helpful and spoke good English.

Lovely 3 night stay in October. Perfect central location, nice old building with quirky room decoration. Staff very helpful and friendly plus good breakfast buffet. Dropped one star because our room (Corolla) smelt quite smoky from the chimney.

We visited a few years ago and found this hotel so lovely and cozy. The service is very good and the receptionist goes to lengths to help you with any question or issue you may have. Good breakfast too!

Staying here was the most wonderful experience. The facilities are adorable and clean, but the staff truly made our experience. They went above and beyond to help us plan our dinner reservations and daytime activities. Also, the morning breakfast buffet was delicious. I cannot recommend Hotel Anitcos Palathos enough!!

Nice little hotel in the center of Orosei, with uniquely designed rooms. They have private parking 500m from the hotel, but you can park in front of the hotel temporarily to unload/load luggage. Very nice customer service, kept in touch with us by WhatsApp. There are several stairs, so if you have mobility issues, it might not be the best choice.

Me and my family stay in the hotel last weekend for 2 nights. It was important to find a nice place because my Mum celebrated her 70th birthday in Orosei. |The staff were super friendly, helpful and also great service. As it was 7 of us, they even made a little separated area for our breakfast. I really liked the cleanliness of each room too. |I got a hint for a local restaurant from the gentleman at the Reception , my Mum was very happy with her special dinner.

Incredible lovely boutique hotel direct in the center of orosei. The rooms are all different and the hotel has a great Italien architecture. The rooms are very clean and with individual style furnished. After 9 pm Orosei is car free city so all cars need to parked 500 meters away. No worries about that flat and nice walking distance. The concierge service is highly recommended to get insides for good restaurants and outdoor activities. The concierge gentleman is a local and has a very good knowledge about Sardinien and the area around orosei

My daughter and I stayed here for three nights in September. It is a very quaint boutique hotel, that probably dates back centuries, and we loved it! The front desk was not staffed when we arrived, but we were taken to our room, given a key and told to check in at 3:00. Everything in Orosei appears to be closed in the afternoon and then opens up in the evening. Everyone was so helpful, and the front desk arranged our transportation to and from the airport as well as trips to the beach and to the mountains. Breakfast was amazing as was the woman who served us every morning. The only minor complaint is the air conditioning was a little weak. We slept fine, but during the day, it was not quite as cool as we are used to. We would not hesitate to stay here again. The hotel is somewhat of an experience that should not be missed!
