Hotel Antillano Cancun

Stayed at the Antillano Hotel for a week and the experience was above my expectations. The staff were supper nice and able to answer all our questions. The room was clean and the AC was effective. The pool was clean and refreshing. We had a room facing the courtyard and it was quiet though we heard from another guest that her room was loud due to a roof party at a nearby hostel. Would stay here again if I'm in Cancun!

After our first night here we went out for breakfast in the morning, coming back to our room we found the cleaning lady in our room acting slightly suspicious. We didn’t think anything of it until we realized there was 1000usd missing from our bag. I don’t like to accuse but in this particular case, the only possible explanation was that she took it from our bag. Our mistake was that we trustingly left the backpack on top of the bed. Unfortunately I have to strongly recommend everyone to avoid going to this hotel. The staff are not trustworthy and they do not offer a safe in the rooms.

Really awesome location! Cheap. Pretty decent interior. Has fairly decent wifi. Clean bathroom with nice showers. Provides good Continental breakfast. The only complaint I might have if the place is a bit loud at night. But maybe it's because I was there in New year's Eve. I'd recommend this place.

Great place to stay on a budget. Rooms are very clean, air conditioned, almost to cool for some. Buses direcy in front take you to the beach and hotel zone. $12 pesos $.75cents.Safe, comfortable, no elevator, small pool. Many places nearby to eat inexpensive and good Mexican food. Stay here save money.

Nice cozy rooms with very comfortable beds. It has a pool that's not very deep, about 4 feet at its deepest, but it's perfect for relaxing of for kids. The service is excellent, very nice people. And the location is very centric, there are banks, atm machines, supermarkets, convenience stores and a very beautiful Park with local food options all within walking distance. I've had a wonderful experience here and recommend it if you visit cancún on a budget.

Great for the price, very convenient to the ADO station and to the busses to the Zona Hotelera. Basic rooms, but very clean. Front desk clerk did not seem to speak English, but it wasn’t a real issue. Surprisingly comfy bed.

Nice hotel. Good location,. A 5 minute walk is Two blocks from hotel bus terminal to airport and to playa del carmen and to merida. In front of hotel you can catch bus #1 or #2 to hotel zone for a $1. The hotel has wifi and around the corner you can eat for $2.75 or 50 pesos. Good location. Around many mom and pop restaurants and super market

I arrived at 3am in the morning and they could not find my reservation. After making me wait for about 30 minutes while they looked, and after me showing the confirmation email, confirmation on the website, the confirmation on the booking app, the transaction in my bank account AND having the booking company call them; they still made me pay them again and said I could resolve it in the morning. Had I not had cash on me, I would of been in a tight spot so late in the evening. I go back in the morning and they say they found my reservation but some “local taxes” are been deducted although my reservation was fully paid. I contested that and the woman told me I should learn to read terms and conditions so I asked her to show me where it was in the terms. Obviously she couldn’t find it, said I can have the “tax” money back since I clearly needed it more. Great hospitality!
