Hotel Apartamentos Cala Santanyí

I stayed at this hotel for two nights in order to be able to see Cala Santanyi, Santanyi town, and see Es Pontas. It´s a nice hotel with good staff who are polite and friendly, and helpful, and frankly, this distinguishes them from the majority of hotels across Mallorca that I have stayed in (many). The only issues I found were that there is only one elevator to go the rooms and it is quite small. Also, while there is an elevator to bring your luggage up to the reception from the ground floor, it´s a bit of a clunky contraption, where you have to hold the button down the whole time in order to get the elevator to go up or down and have to make sure your luggage is not too close to the doors. ||I had a small studio apartment which looked out onto some trees so I had no seaview, but the apartment was clean and was sufficient for my needs. However, the lamps on either side of the bed were not working and though I reported this issue to the reception, the issue was not fixed during my stay. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean. ||Cala Santanyi itself is beautiful and is only a few steps away from the hotel. However, to get to a supermarket, you have to cross the beach and go up some rather steep steps to go up the hillside to a road above, where there is a Spar supermarket which is way overpriced even for very basic items. Clearly, they put their prices so high because there are no other supermarkets around. There is also a restaurant there and further down towards Es Pontas, there is a nice cafe/restaurant called Bar Cerverceria Es Pontas which I can recommend. I had some very nice lemon crepes and coffee there. The service was friendly and the decor is charming. ||I think if I were to stay at this hotel again in future, I would book early and get a seaview room, but being so close to the beach, it was not really an issue for me. I suggest to the hotel to improve their accessibility and install an additional elevator and a larger elevator.

This aparthotel is located in an ideal spot just next to a cozy beach (Cala). The people are so friendly and helpful. Wonderful views from the balcony. The AC doesn’t seem to by strong enough and everything else was great.

We stayed as a family of grandparents, adult children and grandchildren and it is the perfect holiday spot for family vacation. We had three bedrooms, and the grandparents room was separated by a joint door. It was very convenient and gave some privacy to all. The grandparents room did not have a balcony, but the other two bedrooms did. We chose to include breakfast and dinner, and both had lots and lots of food to choose from. Since we were nearing the end of the season, it was not crowded. Many many German families vacation here. There is an indoor heated pool plus a sauna, steam room and hot tub. There is an outdoor pool with lounge chairs and a bar. There is an elevator to take you to your room. The kids club was amazing and the grandchildren spent many hours during the day having a great time. It was a lovely beach however, the locals can use the beach and you do need to pay to use the lounge chairs. There is a Beach Bar for anyone, as well as a Second Beach Bar in the hotel. The food at both was very good and reasonably priced. We took the bus to the town as there is a market there on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The market is filled with fruit, vegetables, flowers, lots of clothing stalls as well as knock off handbags. Many places to eat there as well. We did take a taxi back as the buses didn’t seem to run on time.

Wonderful place to go with or without family. It's definitely a popular German family destination which we enjoyed, very friendly people. Wish I could remember more German! They have a cute little schedule of events for kids and adults. Pool and beach are right there plus a boat/kayak/sup rental place.

I stayed here for a week with half board. Truly an exceptional experience. The cala is gorgeous, the deep water soloing is world class, the breakfast & dinner buffets were great and didn't get old, and the staff was lovely. Solid a/c, serviceable wifi, quiet area. I'll return again next year, highly recommend.

We didn't know what to expect and specially after seeing some bad pictures from a bathroom here we were not sure about the choice, but decided to trust the majority of reviews and have to say we were impressed, since the booking to the last minute staff were very nice and helpful, they answered all our questions and made good suggestions, we got a free upgrade to a big and nice apartment with all necessary items at the kitchen and bathroom. We didn't used the pools we just saw it has an indoors and an outdoors, but with the beach just few meters away we preferred enjoy it. Has many good restaurante options and also mini markets. We definitely would recommend and return to it.

This was our 5th time in Apartamentos. The main reason is the kids club which my kids are always looking forward going to, especially my older one. This time they went night diving and exploring the cave for example - so quite a bit of adventures. The activities/groups are age appropriate and very well organized. ||||Although these are just apartments rather then hotel, service is well above what one would expect (room cleaning 6x a week). The staff did not change much in the past 5 years, which indicates to me the place is well run - and it show. It is very peaceful and feels safe.||||Beach is just perfect size for the kids and it is usually relatively calm. There are beautiful walks along the cliffs, although the paths may not be immediately obvious. And it is great for sea canoeing and climbing.||||There is a possibility to take breakfast and dinner in form of a buffet, which I found excellent (even improved from the last year).||||One complain is that you do pay for everything. We even had to pay for printing our boarding passes. Another is coffee in the buffet :-).||||Just a note: the bike rental in the same building as the apartments is bad. Old bikes, old helmets, not really much to choose from -- but this is fault of the Apartamentos, just so you know.

Good hotel, friendly people. Lots of Animation for kids but mainly german orientated. De hotel is very wonderfully located. Cala santanyi is also not very touristique it’s more relaxed and quiet tourism with kids. Evenings on the beach are super! Good pools, not large but for kids fine, and the indoor pool was a treat. The gym is very plain.
