I was quite surprised to read previous recent reviews that weren’t so good. We found it just the job for a 4 night stay, great location & friendly staff. View from the balcony was lovely to wake up to every morning! Agree that the shower cubicle is extremely small and curtain not big enough so bathroom gets flooded out after every shower. Think a kettle would be a nice addition in the room to enjoy a cuppa on the balcony.

Our stay at Hotel Apollon was fantastic! From the warm welcome to the breathtaking sea views, everything exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location—right by the beach—was perfect for relaxation and exploring the area.
The food at the hotel’s restaurant was delicious, and we loved watching the sunsets from the terrace. What truly made our stay special was the friendly, attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time.
Highly recommend for anyone visiting Corfu—we’ll definitely be back!

I liked the location. The hotel is located in front of the beach crossing the road and you will be there. I liked that during the night the room is completely black out ( if you want) During the day you can see the beach from the room and also on the second floor the rooms have a type of terrace with artificial grass great to sit and watch the sunset.||What I didn't like was the beds. We had some very, very old mattress toppers, full of holes. The first night I was not able to sleep, so I asked for that toppers to being taken out. The friendly receptionist wanted to move me to the third floor. But my little girl and husband were in the next room and that meant two bedroom change or nothing. We stayed just 2 nights , so we were leaving the next day so I asked them to take out the mattress toppers. And it was a little better. The mattress was totally hard. Still better than the holes. When we finally wanted to recover the sleep accumulated from the day before, we couldn't do it. Because from the rooms you can hear everything very clearly. From just people's footsteps, busses from the road, the refrigerator that makes a lot of noise during all day and people from the next room checked out very early (6am) so we hear all.. and after a while the cleaning ladies started their work in that room (8am Corfu time, for us 7am) and with the vacuum cleaner on they were talking loudly so they could hear each other. Sovery short sleep time.|We also didn't like the bathroom in the room. It has a plastic curtain and is so small that we take a bath with the curtain on our skin.|The small refrigerator in the room made noise all the day and night. We had milk and juice so we couldn't disconnect it ..The bathroom is where you can most notice how old the hotel is.|It was possible to include a buffet breakfast in the reservation. It wasn't too bad, but it wasn't good either. The first day I found scrambled eggs and hard-boiled eggs. Fresh fruit only had a piece of melon that ran out and was not replaced. The second day they had only hard-boiled eggs. No more options. No fresh fruit. And we had to ask for the juice to be replaced because the workers didn't do for more than 15 minutes and we were just 5 tables..so not busy at all.||So..it is ok hotel but for my health I would prefer to find another one next time, where I can sleep at night.

Hotel is extremely run down and falling to pieces, between booking 3 rooms, 1 fridge with rust and very noisy, literally had to switch off, shower without a curtain or glass, tv not working, bed 2 old mattresses put together with bump in the middle. Breakfast very poor and tinned fruit ! Staff not friendly at all . My husband had an injury and we had to get a longer stay till afternoon, we had to pay for full night double room bfast included and we left hotel at 6.30 pm !! Also cheaper on booking.com than their direct rate ! Cleaners in the morning very noisy in corridors waking up residents. Towels that will be used for room, left outside in a very dirty and dusty area.

• Air conditioning - loud and old (can’t really sleep with it on);
• Wi-Fi 🛜- incredibly slow;
• Furniture is very old inside an old building that needs some renovation.
• Bathroom - old and not maintained. (Not looking very clean either, it might be just me seeing it this way);
• Bed sheets were clean but not tucked under the mattress and pillows not covered properly (I literally had to make my bed before sleeping🤌😅)
• Restaurant is full of wasps trying to check your food, so best stay away unless you like them. 😅
*• I can only recommend the hotel for the location, very close to the beach 🏖️ but with this price,💰I don’t recommend wasting your money.
P.S. the sea water is very cold in this area.

I had a disappointing experience at this bar due to the bald barista working behind the bar. While the female waitresses were attentive and friendly, the barista seemed to ignore me completely. It felt as though my presence was not valued compared to the other customers, which made me feel unwelcome. I understand that everyone has their own preferences, but I believe all customers should be treated with respect and equal attention. I hope the management addresses this issue so that all patrons receive the same level of service.

We spent a week at Hotel Apollon (half board) staying in the Annex building (one twin/one double). The rooms had everything we needed, being spotlessly clean with a fridge, air conditioning, balcony and fantastic views over one of the smaller beaches. A very short walk to the main hotel and restaurant where, as a vegan party of three we enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast which included vegan cheese and spinach pie (also plant based milk) and a three course evening meal each day - starters included some of the best soups we've tasted, bruschetta, couscous salad, main: a choice of vegan moussaka and pasta, dessert: a choice of ice cream, fruit salad and chocolate cake. Portions were generous! My husband eats meat and I hope to return with him. Knowing we will both be catered for as standard, with so much choice really is refreshing (not easy for vegans in a lot of UK hotels!) Next to the hotel, a small bakery also offers delicious vegan choices. An evening walk to the Monastery to watch the sunset is a must! A fantastic traditional hotel run by a Greek/English management team, all so warm and friendly. With such a stunning beach on the doorstep of this hotel it may rate as two/three star but it gets a five from me. I cannot recommend it enough for a quiet relaxing break. *Travelling from Corfu Airport to the hotel takes around an hour catching two buses - for our party of three, it cost around 10 euro's each way (cash only) much cheaper than a taxi! At the time of writing we took the number 15 bus from outside the Airport to the Green Bus Station and from there, the Green Bus to Paleokastritsa, where the bus stops in the carpark close by the hotel.
