We have visited this hotel several times over the years and it just gets better. The rooms have all necessary facilities, are air conditioned and are spacious. The bar area is open until 12am, and we were served very well by staff there, particularly David, who was very chatty. Sometimes the bar is open outside rather than inside, depending on the weather. There is a very good restaurant open for lunch and dinner, and the food is delicious. The big attraction is the swimming pool, which is shallow enough at one end for children ( careful though as children are only accepted in the hotel at certain times of the year). Special mention has to be given to Erwan at reception, who went above and beyond to help us several times, and gave us a wonderful welcome, many thanks Erwan, Merci!

We had a lovely 3 night stay at the hotel. The room wasn’t huge but it was quiet and very comfortable with apart from a few more tea bags and proper milk in the fridge, had everything we needed. |The pool was the highlight of the stay in a beautiful setting. It was very busy but all guests respected space and tranquility. It helped that it was adults only,|We tried the restaurant for breakfast on day one but it was so busy that the limited staff members had difficulty re stocking the buffet so we didn’t go again.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and it was a great experience. I would definitely stay here again. The rooms were lovely and the staff was very friendly and professional. They helped me out quite a bit with taxis to and from hard to get to places. I was too busy to use any of the pool, spa, workout, or dining facilities but those all looked very extensive and inviting as well.

A lovely short visit of three days to Aix-en-Provence, France. |We stayed at the Aquabella Hotel & Spa which was perfectly located to visit all the wonderful locations including some great restaurants, however, the restaurant that shone for us was in the hotel itself. Superb steak, fabulous fresh salads and great staff. Our flight from London Heathrow was about 1 hour 30 mins and we had an extension of our summer weather of 25-30 C and the use of the hotels swimming pool.

The Aquabella was terrific! Great location, fantastic pool, and unbeatable location at a really good price.||We had two rooms; one for ourselves and one for our adult daughter. Both were spacious and clean. One thing I really appreciate it was that it had a bathroom and a completely separate toilet room. Both rooms also had lovely balconies overlooking the city.||The pool was beautiful, although they could use a few more chairs around the pool. In all fairness, it was completely sold out while we were there.||We had breakfast there one day and it was very good and super fresh.||The staff was very welcoming, and the lobby had a hip vibe.||You could not ask for a better value in a better location.|I would, without hesitation recommend this hotel.

The rooms are spacious and have sothys soap, shampoo and bodylotion. There are 2 bottles of water placed in the room daily.|The cleaning is done daily, and the reception staff are helpful and patient.|The surroundings are beautiful, pool, jacuzzi, saunas etc|One important point, if you want to use the spa (and you should) book in advance. We got there and they were fully booked.|We eventually got 2 scrub treatments for half an hour for 67 euros each, not recommended!! So prebook for the good stuff.|We will be back. It was that good. The location is also unbeatable.

Our Rick Steves tour ended with 1 night here and we stayed on our own for 2 more. We enjoyed our room, the elevator, the AC, the pool, the hot tub, steam, sauna! It's easy to walk around Aix and Uber works fine here. We took a day trip to Arles, Les Beaux, and St Remy. There are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance, too.

I was excited to stay at Aquabella for my first trip to Provence, expecting a charming boutique hotel surrounded by nature. Instead, it’s located in the old town, which felt a bit run-down. The staff were lovely and very helpful, but the hotel itself was disappointing—the room was small, dated, and had a moldy smell. Breakfast was included, but we chose to eat out as it wasn’t very inviting. Great service, but the hotel didn’t match the photos or the vibe I was hoping for.
