The hotel is very centrally located. Friendly hotel personal. I was disappointed by the "Spa Facilities". There is only 1 small Jacuzzi (very crowded), 1 sauna, 1 Hamam. There are laying possibilities but not very clean sofa beds. It is a bit outdated, too many people. They are offering a tea. No swimming pool available during winter. There is an inside pool, but only allowed for sport activities that you have to book and pay I guess. I feel that business is made with beauty treatments but if you are searching just for a relaxing time, this is not the best place. We didn't try the food, it must be good what I read here in the comments.

The hotel was great, rooms a bit small. We had a great meal in the restaurant. We found the spa very difficult to work out and it was fully booked. I couldn’t get any prices in advance in English

The hotel room and location were good. The front desk staff we encountered did the minimum for you though they did attempt to act friendly and helpful. I called the front desk to get help with finding out about how much a taxi would be to go to Avignon and he said he didn’t know. He said Avignon is about 12 km which is totally wrong. He did not offer to find out. We tried to borrow an umbrella and they didn’t have any left. This is not the staff’s fault. In other very good hotels, this was not an issue! The air conditioning is pre set to 22C, so if this is too warm for you from April to October then it’s too bad. Our room did not get any cooler than 23.5 C. We ended up opening the window in the morning. We didn’t open it at night because of the noise outside. Again, this is not the staff’s fault. They did bring a fan which really didn’t work that well. The hair dryer was hard to use. You had to squeeze the handle hard for it to work. Again, this is not the staff’s fault. The steam room and sauna were nice. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi was not very hot. Not the staff’s fault.

This was our favorite place we stayed during our trip in September 2024! It had a great location close to the old city in Aix, a wonderful full service spa complete with sauna, hammam and cold showers, hot tub and beautiful outdoor pool. I was so glad we stayed here for 3 nights during our honeymoon because it allowed me the chance to use the spa every day and even attend a yoga class too (extra cost). It was great for parking at a discount when we went out for day trips and return in the evening to walk around the city, eat, and drink without worries.

The best hotel we stayed at on our adult family trip around France! When we got to Aquabella eveything from start to finish was AMAZING. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the rooms were huge I couldn’t get over the size of the bed it was fabulous! The food in the restaurant was some of the best food we experienced on our trip and the pool area/spa/gardens were absolutely gorgeous! We have stayed in lovely hotels and this is up there with the best! If you’re thinking of booking this hotel DO IT! You won’t be disappointed you’ll be booking to go back like we have! ||Thank you to everyone at Aquabella for making our time at the hotel so enjoyable and relaxing — also tip - try the mojito when you’re there they are superb!! ||Many many thanks, ||Eve from the UK x

Very good location, very clean. Restaurant menu could be much broader. But the real difference is made by people like David at the Pool Bar and Chloe at the front desk, who work seemingly-effortlessly (that means they work very hard!) to make your experience the best it can possibly be. Thank you for your generous and kind hospitality! We’ll recommend your support to others!

Our in-car gps took us exactly to the hotel but bollard in the middle of the street was a problem. To get to hotel parking garage suggest using this address 19 Rue Jacques|de la Roque|13100 Aix-en-Provence, France followed by address of hotel. This will avoid the bollard and the slow drive through the old part of town. |Chloe was helpful from the moment we arrived. David at the pool bar very helpful. Eating at the restaurant gets an F from me. It’s like the chefs are trying to put out pretty, unique food with little regard for also creating comfort food. Breakfast eggs too dry, Caesar salad too difficult to cut the spears of lettuce in the bowl which wasn’t made for cutting. The chef should try to eat what they make! These two early experiences drove us to find alternate places to eat. |The hotel itself is very nice. Air conditioning is controlled by the hotel. Ours was set at 22C or 71.6F. Rooms have refrigerators. Pool is great, spa area is very nice. Hotel is well located for visiting Aix on foot. |For breakfast try these two bakeries which open early enough. On the way to the bakery there is one small grocery store which opens at 7:30 as well as a nearby fruit stand. |Les Moulin des Artistes|36 Pl. des Tanneurs, 13100 Aix-en-Provence, France|Boulangerie Paul|3 Avenue du Maréchal Foch, 13100 Aix-en-Provence, France|Five minutes walk out the side door is a piazza with multiple outdoor places to eat.

Beautiful setting and a great location! We didn’t take advantage of the spa or pool but enjoyed the outdoor spaces and the other amenities. It was the relaxing respite we needed after a busy few city weeks. A great launching place for touring the town and the area.
