Hotel Arad

I stayed at Hotel Arad 4 years ago, and the service, staff friendliness and cleanliness was much better than 8 months ago. In the fall of 2018, my stay was disappointing. Shower was leaking, rug was dirty, and the room was very small. The front desk person seemed very unhappy to be there, and gave me a bad attitude about forgetting the air on for the few hours I left the room. It's inexpensive, so I got what I paid for.

Friendly staff, very competent and helpful with their guests. The building is situated in the city centre, within walking distance of everything worth seeing in ARAD and it's lovely. It's a mixture of '70's walls and furniture with 2000's tech, which sometimes can be temperamental, but we were told the entire place will be renovated soon. Private parking at the back, one-way streets to be observed. Nice, large outdoor terrace with water fountains available. Decent food, spacious, comfortable and decently priced. Give it a go and see for yourself 🙂

Came for lunch. The waiter walked by our table 5 times before he managed to say hello. We ordered pasta and waited for it around 1h. A lot!!!! When we asked the waiter about our food he started saying that there are other orders in front of ours. To be noted that the place was more than half empty! And not to forget about the waiter's colleague, who stood most of the time at the table near us, smoking! "Great" service!

The food is excellent. Both international and Romanian cuisine. The service is very good and friendly. Five stars.

Never again. We used to check in here in the past, but the last time was awful. Bad smell coming from the hotel basement and tons of mosquitoes.

Down to earth. Good accommodation, helpful staff. Food is good. Moderately priced

After 22 you can not eat nothing at the teras and pillows do have a slight dirty smell!

Good and moderate price food!
