Hôtel Arcanse by Inwood Hotels

This is one of the best three star hotels I have ever been to. On arrival you were met at reception by friendly staff who have good information on the hotel, other restaurants and the area itself. The decor is fresh and bright, and there is an outside seating area. The room I had was small but fresh decor, light colours, clean and well laid out. The only issue with the room was that there was mold in the shower and the air conditioning which was set to 18 for the entire evening did not seem to work at all. All it did was blow hot air. There is parking on site, but we were fortunate to find off street parking, which is free during October and the winter season. Overall, a fantastic experience with helpful staff in a lovely hotel located just up from the beach.

It’s a very nice hotel. The breakfast is lovely and it is spotless clean. And the location is very convenient to the beach and to the train station….However, the bed is much too large for the room. I can’t imagine how two people with large suitcases could share this. I was only one person with a small suitcase, and it was hard to figure out how to move around the room. There was only a small shelf that is sort of a desk and not much of a chair to sit on if you want to use your computer. ……There are lots of hotels in this town. I’m sure you could find something that is as elegant and also has a practical room.

Well situated with clean modern rooms. Helpful receptionists. Parking area is a bit tight but reasonably priced. Room a bit small but ok for a night stop.

A great hotel, beautifully decorated and very clean in a good location for the beach and the town, the only downside is the size of the bedrooms, we booked a superior double and it really only lends itself as a single room, with two people in the room you are not able to move around the bed and the bathroom is also very tight, a real shame because everything else was perfect.|Also note that on street parking directly outside the hotel is free out of the main summer season

Perfectly proportioned streamlined, clean bedroom and bathroom and a clever use of space. Good tv and wifi. Safe deposit box Secure parking. It's functional with few frills but rooms have the bonus of an outside terrace. Reception staff helpful and friendly. Great location, close to beach, shops and restaurants. Lots of outside space to sit in.

Stayed here on a quick overnight stop in Arcachon. Lovely friendly and welcoming team who were very keen to help. Hotel is close to the main shopping area in Arcachon and close to the water. Parking at the hotel was easy but I did book it in advance. Good choices at breakfast. Overall, a very good experience.

We had a wonderful two night stay at this hotel, which we highly recommend. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and it was good that the reception loans out beach towels. The location is very convenient, extremely close to the beach and also the train station and lots of restaurants and bars.||The hotel is very clean and comfortable. We had an Executive room which had a wonderful balcony on the front of the property, and we really enjoyed being able to relax and sit outside.||If we ever have the opportunity to return to Arcachon we would certainly stay at Hotel de la Plage again! We thought it was great value for money and ideally located.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The furniture in good shape. The view was okay. The breakfast was fine but nothing special. The beach is near. You can reserve a parking space in the parking lot in advance. The restaurant recommendation was good. The hotel felt a bit overpriced. Unfortunately there was no restaurant inside the hotel. The breakfast was good quality but for the price we would have expected something special. If you don't get a parking space on the grund of the hotel you might struggle to find a nearby parking space. We can recommend staying in this hotel
