Having booked up to stay at the Arcos Hotel after seeing some of the pictures and reviews we were not disappointed. The hotel is inside the walled city and surrounded by years of history, stunning views and loads of culture. Bars and restaurants all within minutes of the front door. The hotel was very clean, beds comfy and as for the showers, fab,, multi jet walk in shower. best we had on our 10 day trip. Breakfast was ok, continental only but think some of the cakes, cheese and cold meats could have been fresher. Would defiantly recommend this Hotel and would stay here again in the future.

For the price great hotel with great position for looking around the town and has private parking. Good breakfast for the price with choice of sweet and savory. Rooms comfortable only downside was the ability to hear your neighbours speaking. But for us this was not a problem we are not light sleepers. We stayed one night and had an enjoyable time. Good shower and bathroom facilities. There was a coffee maker in our room, but you can get hot water if you need. No problem filling our flask with hot water for the onward journey 😁

We were on a motorcycle so this provided both secure parking in its underground garage (Watch out for the steep ramp on a curve though) and a base directly within the walled city. Our room had a nice view of the street and church and was not large but big enough with a good bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and good. The city is very interesting and easy to walk right round the walls in 30 mins. We enjoyed this hotel.

The hotel is well located near the entrance to the walled old city of Ciudad Rodrigo. We were lucky to park our car just next to the hotel, but otherwise there is a great parking lot just outside the city walls, still within reasonable walking distance to the hotel. Reception staff was friendly and helpful, rooms reasonable in size, beds and decoration classical Spanish, still comfortable, bathroom clean and ok, a bit small maybe. It seems the hotel has been renovated recently, and the overall impression is quite clean. Breakfast is buffet style with special attention to kids. Cakes were a bit dry and quality of the food offered average, but then, for 5€ per person the price-quality ration was pretty good. Stepping out of the hotel door you are right in the historic old city where you can explore all the sights and have a good choice of bars and restaurants.

Well located in the centre with some free parking nearby if you’re lucky, this hotel is a little dated although perfectly clean with good staff and at a fairly cheap rate. Noise permeates through the walls easily which isn’t good for lighter sleepers and the beds were average-to-lumpy. Good shower and €5 breakfast, although you can get it for €3 just off the Plaza Mayor. The town is lovely with a fantastic 30 minute walk around the intact wall fortifications.

Pro:The location is perfect. The Procession passes by the hotel on Good Friday. The staff is great.Parking available. Con: The rooms were too small for our liking and our neighbors were very loud. We heard every word they said.

Stayed here one night. The hotel is in a great location and the room was perfect for us. It was fairly small, but very clean and had a small balcony that looked out on to two churches and a small street. Really good wifi - we used it to plan our next week's travel with no issues.||||The street was a little noisy in the early morning, but we had our balcony doors open as we don't like using aircon.||||The staff were very helpful, and the lady who checked us in had near-perfect English.||||The breakfast was a bargain at €5 each - the coffee wasn't great but the selection of food was good, with loads of pastries, tortilla, a few meats, yoghurts, bread to toast and some fruit. It was all-you-can-eat.||||The hotel does have parking, but we didn't manage to get into it as we booked last minute. We instead parked just outside the city walls near a shopping centre/supermarket for free. It was a five-minute walk to the hotel and our hire car felt perfectly safe. (We don't recommend driving into the old town without having parking booked as it was full of people and small streets!)

A small hotel within the old city walls. Room not large but spotlessly clean - amazing shower! Staff very helpful and polite. Breakfast was very good. I thoroughly recommend this hotel. Nothing more to say.
