Hotel Argantonio

A very nice hotel in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was tasty and generous. The building is lovely.

I can't rate this hotel enough. Warm welcome, beautiful architecture and lovey furniture and decoration. Great bed and bathroom. Good water pressure and lots of hot water and that water is so soft in Cadiz. We did book a Deluxe Bedroom and it totally matched the photo's and description. We even got a little welcome tray of champagne, chocolates and mineral water. Breakfast was great. The location is an easy walk from the railway station and great for getting to every part of the old town. As we travelled in Semana Santa it was very busy so try and book the best tapas bars and restaurants.

We really enjoyed this hotel. Great location, quiet( no outside / street noise). Clean! Really clean! , wonderful staff - everyone we met were so very nice and helpful, we had breakfast too and it was perfect too, we were 4 ladies and we enjoyed having cocktails and playing cards downstairs. Wonderful Stay ! Highly recommend!!! Special shout out for Luisa!!! She was the staff on evenings so wonderfully kind and helpful, such an amazingly dear woman!!!

Lovely hotel in a great location. We stayed in the suite on the top (4th) floor, which was fantastic with a small private terrace, large well furnished room and a large bathroom. There were a few complimentary items and little note that were a nice touches. The main roof terrace was pleasant and surprisingly quiet. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Hotel was very clean and done out nicely. Did have slight trouble trying to book on their website; the payment page kept stalling, and when you went back or refreshed you had to start the whole booking from scratch, but managed it eventually. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

This hotel which is located in the middle of old town surprises me with it charm. My room is very small but it’s clean and I love the decor. I love how everything is decorated. Each door is different and unique. You definitely feel the moorish influence in this hotel. There’s a beautiful lobby where you can hang out and sit. The best part is the rooftop. They also offer breakfast for 10 euros.

Above and beyond in every way! Beautiful rooms, location and service. I couldn't imagine a better place to stay. It's close enough to town and far enough to rest and relax. The desk personnel are helpful and kind. Great prices and beautiful experience.

The hotel is located near a bus stop that will take you to all the best beaches. The people who work there are lovely, we couldn't ask for better or kinder service. The room we had on the 4th floor was a good size with plenty of space to store clothes. Housekeeping always did a great job. The roof terrace was really nice, great place to chill. Negatives: Low pressure shower (but not terrible), not a lot of room soundproofing but hey, it added to the atmosphere. We intend to return to Cadiz in the future will very likely stay here again.

It was listed as free cancellation on Booking.com, but it has changed during the process of booking. Now my travel plans have changed and I'm stuck with the fees Be careful and double check when booking this hotel.

I booked this hotel through Booking.com in September, but our travel plan chaged, and asked for the refund. Booking.com listed the property as "Free refund before December", but when I booked the room, it automatically changed to "non-refundable". I thought it was my mistake that I chose the non-refundable room, but when a looked at the listing again, ALL of the rooms are REFUNDABLE! There is no way that the costomer can pick the non-refundable choice. I contacted the property, but they refuse to refund the payment. VERY DISSAPOINTED to both Booking.com and Hotel Argantonio!

Loved this charming little hotel in a great location in Cadiz. It's completely unique with beautifully tiled bedrooms and bathrooms with a Moorish influence. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Because it's remodelled on a 14th century home, the noise travels quite a bit from room to room. But if that doesn't bother you, you'll love this place. It had a great Internet connection until our last 36 hours there. That would be my only complaint!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this precious little hotel! The location is perfect--walking distance to everything, but on a little side street in the old district so you feel tucked away. The staff members are friendly, courteous, and knowledgable. The rooms are beautiful, with every subtle finishing touch. The roof terrace is a lovely little secret garden in the middle of the city. The breakfast is plentiful, healthy, and delicious. I want to live here!
