Excellent location! Very good services at very reasonable prices. The staff has been very helpful from the first moment we arrived, helping us with carrying our luggage, tips about the city, very kind and friendly. The rooms are very clean and there is always hot water available! We will stay at Hotel Argo again soon!!!

The reception staff was disappointingly unprofessional and rude. It is truly a 1-star hotel and is not even cheap. Bad ratio between quality and price; it was very expensive given its poor service, tiny old bathroom, weird smell, and lack of sound isolation. You could hear noise from the street and the other rooms. There is no elevator, so you need to climb stairs with your luggage with no help from the staff. |The receptionists made no effort to accommodate our needs and they are clearly unsuitable for the hospitality business. There are far way better options in the city at the same price of higher quality. For us, it was an emergency stay of only 2 nights. Impossible to stay longer. Worth 15 EUR per night; not 65.

Managed to grab the last room after missing the ferry connection for Skiathos and having to stay overnight. Reception is 24hrs, lovely marble entrance and staircase and staff all very friendly and helpful (note there is no lift). My room was fairly basic, but super clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed - air con was great, and had fridge and free Wi-Fi. Location is right in the middle of the main shopping district (note that most shops are closed Saturday afternoon) and 10/15min walk to the ferries. Only reason why I gave 4 stars for the room was because mine was on the main road, so a bit noisy, even with the doors shut. But overall very good and I would stay here again.

Excellent location, near the promenade, super clean. Perfect solution if you need just a perfect place to sleep whilst no other amenities are avaliable. Located near the Port and some good restaurants at the same vicinity.

Hotel Argo is in a really heart of Volos, and can be a smart, budget choice, if you spend one or two ninghts in Volos. ||Nothing special, but the staff is kind, room is clean, location perfect and wifi works well. ||I travelled alone, so I got a single room, which was a really joke. The room size was not more than 10m2, and the bathroom was the smallest that I have ever seen. I dont't understand why do they punish the solo travellers with this kind of rooms, while I pay almost the same price, like a couple. In addition, it was in the pre-season, and the hotel capacities were far from the full. They had a chance to offer a better room take into consideration the capacity, but didn't do...||This small gestures make difference between the good and very average accomodations.

Excellent Hotel at the Heart of Volos!!!! The rooms are somehow small but they are very clean and cozy! People have been writing complaints about the lack of elevator; however, the max you will have to take the stairs is for 3 floors. Very friendly staff, who will give you tips for the city and will carry your luggage! 24-hour concierge! The price/value is excellent considering the perfect location next to everything you need! I will come back soon!!!!

Great place for a 1 night stay. Friendly staff. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The only downsides were a small bathroom, no shower curtain and bed sheets didn't fit the bed fully. Overall a good stay and would have no problem to stay again.
