Hotel Ariane

A great hotel with warm friendly staff, rooms were lovely and the food was excellent. EV chargers in the car park ( bring your own cable) with a qr code to run the unit and very reasonably priced. Great location right in the heart of Ypres and 5 minutes from the Menin gate on foot. Definitely worth the bit extra, best hotel in the area by a long stretch.

We chose the Ariane hotel for its location to the Menin Gate, On our arrival we were greeted by wonderful and helpful staff, our room wasn't quite ready,However we were able to park in the ample parking area,and go for a stroll into leper.on our return (we had already booked in online),we were given our room,and wow,what a very warm and inviting room,with all the facilities a couple could want , small fridge, hairdryer,kettle,coffee,machine, plenty of towels, shampoo.soap.hand wash.|The room was clean in all respects, with enough hangers etc.|The staff ,absolutely brilliant,second to none, and we had cause to call on their help late at night,and they responded without hesitation. the room was cleaned daily,and towels changed if needed.|The food is/was 1st class, I have never tasted beef on a skewer like it.|in a nutshell we didn.t need anything while staying at the Ariane Hotel

We have been much contented guests of the Ariane for some years now.||After touring Germany in our car for 3 weeks we always find it comforting to spend our last couple of days at the Ariane in the iconic town of Ypres to wind down a bit before heading for the Shuttle and home.||The Ariane is spotlessly clean with comfortable,quiet rooms, a superb restaurant where you can dine exceptionally well and a sumptuous breakfast each morning.||And the icing on the cake are the folks who work here. Sue, Ringo and Bjorn and many others who have been here for many years and take pride in the great service they provide to their guests.||Many thanks dear Hotel Ariane and we will return again next March

Beautiful hotel. Apartment 17 is spacious and has all the amenities you could need.|We ate bar snacks, dinner in the restaurant and breakfast. Would highly recommend all!|About 10 minutes to the Menin Gate and 15 from the train station.|Only disappointed that we weren’t here longer!

we stayed here a couple of nights while visiting a few sites around Ypres. I highly recommend this hotel the staff was friendly, kind and responsive . the room was clean and very cosy with a practical layout , really a nice place to stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. We also had dinner in the restaurant one night , which was up to the same high standard. The food was amazing and the staff was friendly and energized ... highly highly recommended

We have been coming for nearly 20 years, and in between I have done cheaper, shorter visits with girlfriends and others and stayed elsewhere. Lots of elsewhere, in fact, and I can assure you that nothing compares with the Ariane. There might be cheaper places, but nowhere with such a warm welcome, a fascinating foyer and staircase ( it’s a WW1 museum, there, basically! ), such a lovely restaurant or amazing breakfasts. If you go anywhere else, you’re missing out.

Weird layout of the hotel, but good size room, working AC and within walking distance from city centre, so nothing to complain about. Breakfast buffet really good. AC works somewhat, but far from perfect. Had to sleep without a blanket to not get dehydrated from all the sweating. A big plus for the big parking lot that could accommodate our, for the area, uncommonly large car.

Well, they did it again. Great staff, great location, easy to book, easy to get to (we always drive from the UK) Breakfast sets you up for the day and the restaurant should you choose to use it is excellent as well. In fact you could holiday just there !!!
