I don't even know where to begin! From start to finish, everything was amazing!
The room, freshly renovated with a gorgeous memory foam mattress and pillows (I miss it, better than all the 4 star hotels i've said in across Italy during my 2 weeks trip). The bathroom was spacious, clean and light. The coloured light outside of the room to tap hotel key was so clever and something i haven't seen before. Illuminates a colour in the morning to signal room cleans and a button from inside the room can be pressed to illuminate it red to signal do not disturb.
The hairdryer needs a mention of its own. I hate hotel dryers, it's like having my hair whispered on to dry and always so useless. I requested a professional hairdryer before trying one provided and actually preferred the one provided and never used the professional one. It was so powerful and dried my hair so fast, the heat is a little high so definitely open a window but that's being nitpicky.
We had a slight plug issue, the safety plugs didn't like certain plugs we had which was annoying but not the end of the world as there were plenty of plugs around the room to use.
The hotel is relatively beachfront, tucked away a little at the side but a stones throw away from restaurants and shops and, of course, the sea. Mostly Marina but you can enjoy the costal view from several benches up and down the promenade
I'm picky with breakfast, particularly as I had a disappointing few days in Rome. The coffee was fresh to order and so delicious! Juices available (although 3€ for orange juice seemed a bit silly), scrambled or fried eggs brought to you on request and fresh (refreshing from the catering vats usually provided), delicious yogurts and selection of freshly baked pastries and cakes (the strawberry chocolate cake was amazing!) The view of the harbour from the breakfast room was amazing.
I already want to come back and we only just left!!
