I loved my stay at the Arok!! My dad and I took a trip to France and stayed 3 days at the Arok in separate rooms. We stayed in the new renovation, in the building adjacent to the main building. Both rooms were impeccable, clean, large, and had windows that opened (I like to have fresh air). We ate the hotel breakfast every morning (it was a HUGE selection of meats, cheeses, breads, jams, etc). The reception was friendly. We enjoyed the 24 hour hot chocolate/coffee/tea service. We didn't ask for our rooms to be cleaned while we were there, so I can't speak to that. We felt safe, as the key was needed to open the door, as well as a code. The elevator worked well. The location is just a few steps away from the train station, and about a 15 minute walk to Petite France and the Strasbourg Cathedral. I would stay here again when I come back to this lovely town!

Nicely renovated rooms in the new part (previously hotel Bristol), quiet towards the courtyard. Good breakfast, though no yoghurt, no decaf coffee or gluten free options. A convenient bike room accessible any time, pricey though at €10/bike/night. No coffee/tea in the room, but you can get it in the foyer of the hotel any time, which is nice.

This hotel is 5 minutes walk from the train station, so perfect if arriving by train. Also, just 10 minutes walk to the main part of town. A very convenient location. Hotel was excellent, very comfortable and clean room and bathroom, lovely staff. Free coffee/tea and cold water available in the lobby which was a great perk. Two excellent bakeries next door, and we did an Alsace half day wine tour through Ophorus Tours (highly recommended) which picked up and dropped off right next door to our hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Great little hotel - 3 minutes walk from rail station and 5 mins from the local trams. The main town itself can be walked to with 10 minutes.||The hotel is clean, quiet and well run on a day-to-day basis by youngish staff. They were all pleasant and helpful at all times.| Our room was average size, clean and well maintained, with the usual amenities (except a kettle/cups!).||The breakfast are was of ample size with a good selection of foods. |Tea and coffee facilities are available at all times in this room (also serves as a bar). We could could also bring any afternoon snacks here to eat in peace and comfort.|Can only recommend it!

This is our third stay at this hotel while visiting Strasbourg. It’s a lovely hotel located close to the main railway station, making it convenient for sightseeing and ensuring a safe environment. The rooms are modern and clean, and the breakfast is delicious, offering a good variety of options. If you arrive by car, I recommend contacting the host to inquire about parking options. They can also provide discounts for two parking spaces. We will definitely come back!

Lovely, contemporary, quirky hotel, our room was very clean, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom. Had a balcony and view of the station, we had the door and windows opening in the evening because of the weather and there was no noise or disturbance at all. Breakfast excellent, not a big area to serve breakfast but there was plenty of choice and food available at all times, great coffee too (which is served 24 hours). Nice seating area for eating or having a drink later in the evening. Excellent location for us, less than five minutes from the train station, perfect base as we wanted to tour outside of Strasbourg as well, pleasant 10 - 15 minute stroll in to the centre and Petite France. it was a great stay, served all our needs, would definitely be my choice again when I come back to Strasbourg.

We booked this hotel for location and good reviews, but the experience is far from being great. Arrived on a day that the high temperature is around 94F. Although we book the largest room, it only has a tiny ac vent at the room entry area. The ac was set at 18 Celsius, unfortunately it never went below 84F according to thermometer we have. That is unacceptably hot. You can’t control the thermostat in your room and the hotel doesn’t care to do anything about it. Also, there is only one small elevator, so you will have to wait for over 10 minutes in busy time. Once we got the the floor where our room is located, it is a dark and narrow hallway and you need to carry your suitcases up and down for more steps to get to the room. Furthermore, there are no coffee machine, nor water heater, not even a cup in the room, neither are dental kits or a soap. A few reviewers mentioned how nice the front desk staffs are. They are fine, but if you don’t greet them first, they won’t even look at you or offer any help. Not a complaint but just not a realistic description. We love Strausboug, but definitely won’t return to this hotel.

Yelp
I loved the convenience of this hotel. The snacks and breakfast were good. My major concerns were the bathroom amenities and the lack of air conditioning. We were told it was because the ac couldn't be more than ten degrees below outside. That is fine. However, when it is cool outside and our room is sweltering, something is wrong. They did offer a fan, which helped a little. However, waking every morning covered in sweat did not make for relaxing vacation.

Yelp
Great place to stay! Less than 5 minute walk to train station and short walk to all main tourism attractions. Amazing and friendly staff, beautiful Christmas decorations and free coffee for guests while you stay. The only complaint we had was a strange sewery smell that would crop up occasionally in our room and in the hallways. It wasn't overwhelming and I've smelled worse in the entertainment areas of town back home, just a little off putting when you might occasionally catch a whiff of it. There was a moment where I smelled it outside one afternoon on the street, so it may just be something in that part of town. I noticed it more than my husband since I'm more sensitive to smells. But that being said there is an Arok brand signature scent for sale in their lobby that smells great and most of the time everything smelled lovely! The staff were the best part of the hotel, they were friendly and were encouraging some World Cup raffle games and Christmas activities. Our room was spacious and has a view of the pretty train station too, recommend!
