Hotel Arrope

Excellent hotel in a beautiful area. ||If you’ve not visited La Rioja and Haro before, you will love the scenery and vineyards of the wine you love!||Receptionist deserves a special mention, for her fantastic hospitality and welcome. ||Modern and clean room, very comfortable bed and pillows. ||Breakfast was super, with a large variety of food and drink to keep you going. Lovely proper coffee made in the bar and selection of drinks. ||Hotel restaurant looked sensational and locals were dressed up beautifully for a meal there. ||We will be back and stay again. ||The church is worth the walk and donation of €1. ||We adored the tapas and bars by the church soooo much! Los Berones was our favourite, very authentic. Chamomix was sensational for razor clams of dreams! ||Teeny odd thing was that the majority of the staff working there were very indifferent towards us. Very central location. Lovely room overlooking the terrace. Owner on reception so helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here. Dinner was amazing on one of the nights. Walking distance to the wineries. Locals seem to frequent the hotel and terrace which is always a good sign.

Even though they did not respect my online reservation on their own webpage, they finally honored my room thanks to the great job performed by Carolina!! Their location is perfect as well as their staff and owner, who takes care of you at the restaurant. They provide a private parking that I recommend! |Breakfast is average, fruits are first come first serve or you miss them! No coffee in the room. I will come back!

We booked last minute a night in Haro. This hotel is just perfect, lovely outdoor shaded terrace, lovely staff, the rooms are very specious and spotlessly clean, with good products - razor, toothbrush & paste, eye mask, shower caps etc|The breakfast was ideal.|The only issue we had were there were open bowls of nuts, one of our children has a severe nut allergy... |The location is incredible.|We did a pintxos/wine crawl around the town... Had a great stay here wonderful staff especially Carolina on reception, she couldn’t have been more helpful. The hotel is in a fantastic location 2 minutes from the plaza and all the bars and restaurants. Only reason the room didn’t get 5 stars was because the of the extractor that comes on every time the bathroom light is on. We overcame it by nipping to the Chinese bazaar and buying a plug in night light for the shaver point. Will definitely stay again. Brilliant

A clean, comfortable, budget-friendly choice in the center of Haro. The staff are very kind, and the restaurant located in the hotel was excellent! The only reason this is a four-star rating (not five) is the fact that the noise from the bar made it tough to go to bed early on Friday & Saturday nights. That being said, I would recommend the hotel and restaurant. You're quite close to the free parking lot, and the Barrio de la Estación is just a quick walk away!

Stayed here for one night so as to enjoy some of the local wineries. Pretty easy walking distance to half a dozen or so to choose from. Room was good if a bit small. All the comforts required but no safe so carried all that with us. Close to the square with good choice of bars and restaurants very handy. Lady at the reception was a dream to work with. Parking on the street and we were lucky we got a spot right outside.

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel for 5 nights from Saturday 7/08/2021 in room 102. The room was spacious and comfortable with air-con and a fridge. The veranda doors opened fully giving us a nice view of the lower terrace, the other window gave us a view of the upper terrace that was reserved for the hotel guests. The bathroom was also of a very high standard with a large walk in shower and hair dryer, also plenty of shampoo and soap. Towels were changed on a daily basis if required. The window opened onto the upper terrace.||The restaurant served a continental breakfast and also had a menu of the day or you could choose from the A la Carte. The selection of wines was massive and all reasonably priced.||But what makes Hotel Arrope special is its staff, who were all friendly and helpful especially Nor Rodriguel at the reception desk who has become a friend for life.||Thank you all for making our stay so comfortable.
