i found this hotel to be a lovely little cosy place, relaxing atmosphere. But would definitely no tremind room 2 as you can hear every move and word at the reception and then when they are getting ready for breakfast there is a store room opposite this bedroom.

An island of tranquility and care. Like stepping into a long lost world of courtesy and personal attention. Thank you for providing the perfect space to step back and reflect on upcoming work.

This hotel is charming and quirky which can be both fun and also have disadvantages. There is no parking so as we had a car, we needed to park in the garage not far away. This isn't a problem however it was surprising that reception didn't seem to have any details of how much this cost -this would seem to be something they get asked a lot!||Our room was large overlooking Leibnitzstr, the space was nice however this outlook also meant we had the street noise and the quirkiness of the original building meant that the windows are not very sound proof. ||There is no mini bar of any sort in the room. This is the first hotel room I have stayed in in many years that does not supply complimentary coffee or tea. There is an honesty system in the dining room however not to get coffee or tea in the room and having to pay for it seems a bit mean. ||We accidentally left a Do Not Disturb sign on the door one day however removed it when we returned at 1pm and then left again 30 minutes later. The room was never changed, it is surprising to me that there were no staff available after 1pm to refresh the room as other days I had seen housekeeping staff there until 5pm. ||The original art work around the place is lovely and I did like the original lift, it was fun. The hotel is in a terrific location, lots of great restaurants near by, easy to catch public transport (train and bus) and the K-Damm is just a few steps away. ||So, all-in-all, great for location, everything else, ok.

Fantastic little boutique hotel in a great area of Berlin - walkable to the kudamm and close to the savigny platz . Very friendly staff . Ingo, the owner, runs a great place to stay. Delicious, wide ranging organic breakfast buffet with a lot of choice. Beautiful art around the hotel and details of the hotel building’s history. Our bedroom was spacious, super clean and stylish with lots of original features. The lift up to the hotel is an original lift, adding to the character of the hotel. There is an honesty bar in the dining room which is nice when you have been out all day. The hotel felt homely and welcoming - next time we would bring our slippers! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I’ve just got back from a few days in Berlin, staying at the Hotel Art Nouveau. It’s a most welcoming place with lovely rooms and a delicious breakfast. It was good get back to at the end of the day when my companions and I would relax with a nightcap and discuss what we’d seen. It’s also in a lovely part of the city.

Hotel Art Nouveau is a gem. The hotel is not a “Ritz” as far as amenities and things like that HOWEVER, it is super homey and spacious and really well taken care of, it was safe to walk around in this area as a traveler, the hotel staff was SO KIND and went above and beyond for us and we were obsessed with the blankets they provided. We really wanted to take one home lol, we travelled on business (my husband was working, I was maxing relaxing) and I was able to find a lot to do in the area on my own. Would visit again! Oh and the elevator freaked me out but it was also sehr cool! Ich liebe Deutschland

Yelp
My wife and I had a delightful and comfortable 5 nights at the Hotel Art Nouveau: Ingo Bethke is the model of a caring host, who treated us as if we were guests in his home, and his staff was equally personable. Our room was spacious enough to spread out in, as my wife and I do. The hotel has beautifully converted several floors of what was a typical large Berlin apartment house into guest rooms, breakfast room, meeting rooms, and more. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful--and there is a wealth of restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance. (My wife bought a rug I'm looking at right now from a place on the same block.) This was my first trip to the city--and neighborhood!--where my father was born, and when I return I will certainly stay here again and again. Thank you, Ingo, for a rewarding visit!
