A lovely, well maintained, clean and comfortable hotel with an interesting collection of art works. I had a very comfortable overnight stay and the staff were extremely helpful. The free garage parking is accessed via an elevator to the basement so is very secure. The hotel its position on a hill above the City but all of the steeper slopes leading to it from the beaches have a variety of moving walkways, escalators and even a lift! The climate was very hot during my stay and it's fair to say that the air-conditioning isn't the best but it was certainly good enough to ensure a good nights' sleep. Highly recommended.

The Art Hotel on Santander has private parking and nice rooms, some with a big terrace. The staff is very helpful. Getting there by foot might be a little exhausting, as it is located uphill. However going even further up from there will be supported be escalators. Prices in the summer time seems to be too high though.

I have the issue of sounding biased. We had two nights and had to leave after one night due to unfortunate circumstances. However, I do believe it is a reflection of the place. “All fur and no knickers” . It looks like a newly built taobao hotel. The location isn’t great up the hill but ok. Everything is kinda falling apart. The door to our terrace was half broke and then during the first night the bathroom door fell off leaving my wife stuck in the bathroom unable to get out. The design meant very hard for her to wake me up (it would be very dangerous for a single traveller to be stuck in there). Anyway, I reported this issue at 2 am and the front desk tried her best with her lack of English to help. However, the owner was a bit weird in that he firstly misled the time he would be which isn’t helpful in a stressful claustrophobic situation. He then seemed annoyed we’d woken him up/ wanted recognition for his effort even after my wife being stuck in a small bathroom for 45 minutes. Anyway, we decided to cancel our stay. Perhaps they will learn from this situation. Travelled many places around the world but I find it difficult to not say to avoid this. We had a great night at Bahia Hotel the next night. Overall, trying to be fair, I wouldn’t be misled by the photos, it’s a bit meh. Although the photos in the hallway were ironic as it has a trapped person and perhaps that experiential stay was their hope.

What a lovely place to stay! Super friendly and helpful staff, good parking, funky corridors, lovely rooms and a great breakfast 😎 We had only one night before getting a ferry back to the UK: nice location, easy to walk down to the front (aided by an elevator & a few moving pavements back!) 👍 Hope to return one day - thanks 🙏

Fantastic staff, Wally was extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Ample parking, although we booked it. Room was clean, suffice and balcony views were outstanding. Breakfast was a choice of warm food or continental and a wide selection of cakes snd cereals. Definitely stay again. Perfectly placed for a walk downhill into town with outdoor escalators to get get back up. Thank you all the staff @hotelart, Santander

We stayed here for a week during our honeymoon. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a variety of options. The room was very spacious and we had a bay view which was lovely to wake up to. The room itself doesn't get very cool so we were a bit warm sometimes and the wifi was spotty. Hotel is in a residential area so be prepared to walk or drive to the beach/center areas.

A lovely hotel in Santander, we enjoyed our stay. It is not far from the center, but the area of the hotel is quiet and relaxing. It has to be noted that the area around the hotel is quite hilly. The breakfast provided was excellent, a variety of options to pick from. Lovely and helpful staff.
