This hotel was super central to a lot of transport and sightseeing location! And a huge plus for it being seated in the middle of a bunch of good food places like Buci cafe down the street from the hotel that opens till 5am is a hidden gem! Grom gelato spot is not too far either and so is a supermarket. It’s also near a really good ramen shop but be aware of its service, it isn’t super tourist friendly. Three different crepe shops just behind Buci cafe that deserves award winning taste!!! The rooms were amazing! Comfy bed, clean towels, clean shower, a very nice hair dryer, ironing machine and clothes washing service available! The only thing is there’s not much ventilation in the room so it resulted my stay having to open the window at night to let out some air. The otherwise, this place is still a 10/10 stay for me! Experience was wonderful, receptions were all very helpful and welcoming! On tap still and sparkling water as well as an espresso machine for tenants to use! They also offer umbrellas for tenant to use if you forget your own :)

We stayed here for 4 nights in November. There’s not a fault with this hotel. ||Room - we’d seen a few reviews mentioning the tiny rooms. The rooms aren’t tiny. The size of the rooms were great and more than capable of hosting two adults who don’t travel light. Spotlessly clean with a good shower and coffee making facilities. ||Service - impeccable. The reception staff were all extremely friendly and helpful everyday. We’d come to Paris to celebrate my partners birthday and upon check in to our room we were met with a bottle of red and a birthday message; such a nice touch and we were both very grateful. ||Location - perfect. Quite easily the best location we’ve had in a city. Saint Germain is a beautiful area and as two female tourists, we were cautious of a safe location and this hotel ticks every box. This hotel is genuinely a few steps away from lovely bars, restaurants and cafes. It is also a stone throw away from the boulevard and metro line. We also easily walked to many major attractions from here too. The noise from the street is not off putting at all - the windows, when shut, make the room quiet so no problems there. For us, the location could not have been better. ||We started recommending this hotel almost immediately to friends looking to stay in Paris and when we return we won’t be staying anywhere else. Huge thank you.

I really wanted to love this hotel! It gets so many glowing reviews, and has such a great location. I secured a good rate compared to the many other 4 star hotels in the area that I looked at, so we were looking forward to trying it. We got the Prestige room. |The good: location, location, location. It is close to 3 metro stations, and is an easy walk to the Pont Neuf over to Notre Dame or the right Bank. The 6th is my favorite neighborhood to stay in Paris, though some find it “too touristy.” Other assets: the shower is fantastic, and the bathroom is spacious. There were lots of outlets in the room. The hotel breakfast was very good, although the coffee was from a machine and was sub par. |The less good: our main issue with this hotel was that there was no individual climate control in the rooms. Even though it was in the mid 50s outside, the room was uncomfortably warm, and we could not turn on the A/C because the hotel had switched to heat mode for the season. I found this very unusual for a 4 star hotel in the 21st century, and it really affected our visit. We got a fan which helped a little, and we opened the windows when we were in the room . But because we were on the ground floor, we couldn’t leave them open at night. In my opinion, this feature (or lack of) would reduce my grade of the hotel to a 3 star experience. |The staff was good but not memorable. Most times there was only one person at the front desk, so check in was quite slow when we arrived in the morning. |If I could, I would give this hotel 3.5 circles. |I realize that my review is different from many others, so see what you think!

This was our first stay, and my wife and I absolutely loved this hotel. The location is amazing - beautiful cafe lined streets and easy walk to metro stops, Louvre, Notre Dame, Luxombourg Gardens. The 3rd floor room was small but lovely, quiet and comfortable, exactly what I would expect from a great urban boutique hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

The Artus hotel is a gem of a small boutique hotel, and its location on lively Rue de Buci can’t be beat. When you step out the door, you’re surrounded by cafés, restaurants, and shops.|The hotel is beautifully maintained, spotless, and cleverly designed to make the most of its compact rooms. We stayed in a superior room facing the street and heard no noise at all; impressive for such a vibrant area. Amenities include a Nespresso machine in the lobby with a variety of coffee pods and a still/sparkling water filling station, both thoughtful touches.|A special mention goes to Sanjay, the head concierge. Every morning, he greeted us by first name and offered insider tips that even seasoned Paris visitors would appreciate. His warmth and knowledge made our stay even more enjoyable.|Breakfast was the one aspect that didn’t quite match the hotel’s otherwise high standards. While the croissants and pastries were fresh, the selection was limited and the same every day. With so many excellent cafés just steps away, we’d probably skip the hotel breakfast next time. Aside from that, everything was perfect. |Merci, Hotel Artus, and merci, Sanjay. À bientôt!

We could not have asked for a better experience for our very first trip to Paris, celebrating our 40th anniversary. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff went out of their way to make us feel special, including a thoughtful upgrade to a beautiful suite in honor of our anniversary.||The location is ideal – close to major sights, charming cafés, and easy transportation, yet tucked away enough to feel quiet and relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Our suite was elegant, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home.||Breakfast each morning was another highlight – fresh, high-quality selections with both local flavors and international favorites, enjoyed in a cozy, stylish setting. It was the perfect way to start the day.||Overall, this boutique hotel delivered in every way: outstanding service, prime location, beautiful accommodations, and attention to detail that made our special trip unforgettable. We cannot recommend it highly enough and look forward to returning.

Excellent hotel and service staff. The location on the left bank was perfect - close to many things we wanted to see and near cozy bars and good restaurants. The hotel itself was outstanding. The concierge, Sanjay, made reservations at small boutique restaurants which were a highlight of our trip. We highly recommend Hotel Artus.

We stayed at the Artus on recommendation of our trusted travel agent. It did not disappoint. The team was attentive and gave personalized service. All of our needs were met. We had questions re the location and modes of transportation. Any question they could not immediately answer, they looked up! We got wonderful recommendations for dinner complete with reservations booked and when we had to change two of the times and cancel one, they assisted with a smile! Excellent service. The rooms were clean and were welcomed with a personalized note!

Yelp
Just checked out after a 6 night stay. This hotel is top notch. It is in an amazing area on an awesome street! We stayed in the exclusive suite and it was perfect for our family. It has 2 bathrooms and a pull out bed for our kid. Everything is modern and the balcony is really nice to sit out at and enjoy. The room has all the amenities you'd ask for and the a/c is great. Would highly recommend staying here!

Yelp
Hello all who are traveling to Paris! We had the privilege of staying at this wonderful, clean, unique, Four Star hotel located in the Saint Germain area. Honestly they are above 4 Stars in my book so go and enjoy an amazing stay!! You have the option of picking a breakfast to be included in your rate. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS OPTION!!! The breakfast was Devine! You have a buffet of options, staff helps you with hot beverages and the offer a great selection of fruit, eggs, potato's, meats, yogurt, breads, pasties and so much more! You are very close to the Louvre, Norte Dame and amazing shopping, Bistros, Restaurants and even a small organic grocery store is right around the corner. The staff is incredible!! They were kind, attentive, helpful, professional and knowledgeable! We were treated with the utmost respect-and being American it was a pleasure to experience their generosity! Thank you Artus Staff! We hope to return soon and we were so happy with all your provided.

Yelp
Super cozy boutique hotel in Saint Germain. The rooms were small, which I was half expecting since we were in Paris! What was really surprising though was the elevator. It felt like a 2x4 ft box, barely fitting two people. (Had to take two trips since we couldn't fit both of us and our two suitcases). The elevator took us directly to our room (no hallway, literally when the elevator door opens, you are facing your door). I guess it depends on what side of the hotel you're staying in, but this elevator only went up to the rooms ending in #10s. Not a gripe but just painting a picture of what you can expect for cozy boutique in a nice part of Paris. You're paying for location, which was very convenient, close to lots of cafes, shops, and the metro. The rooms overall were clean and concierge was very friendly and helpful! Tips: - BNP bank atm is super close down the street if you need cash. - you can order museum tickets through the hotel when you book your rooms. We opted for the 2-day museum pass and the front desk handed it to us when we checked in. - for US travelers, bring an outlet converter. My husband and I didn't think we'd need one since it was a pricey boutique hotel, but thankfully my sister lent us hers just in case. - breakfast area and restrooms are both downstairs from the lobby. - there is a small steam room/sauna. We regret not finding time to try this out since we came during the spring and some of the days were quite chilly and rainy! - if you need to print anything, the front desk will be able to help you out. You basically email them and they can print it out for you. - not a tip but we enjoyed the little snacks and goodies left in our room after each clean up! (Candies, hand lotion, etc)

Yelp
My fiancé and I decided to stay at the Artus our second time in Paris, first time staying in Saint Germain, and are so glad we did! Sanjay and everyone else at the hotel was extremely kind, attentive, and helpful. He arranged for our museums passes to arrive the day we got in, was waiting at the door to help us with our luggage, and was continually present to answer any questions. He even remembered it was my fiancé's birthday and had celebratory wine waiting for us when we checked in. The location is perfect, right up a lively street with some of the trendiest resturants in the area and across the street from the M4 metro stop. The room itself is small but we didn't think it was too small - Paris is a huge, popular city, real estate is going to be more compact here. The bed is very comfortable, the shower has great water pressure, and the vanity has lots of space to spread our your sundries. At the Artus you get to stay in a cool area, in one of the world's best cities - you won't really be in the hotel much anyways, but when you are everything you need is readily available and the service is excellent. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend it! :)

Yelp
The staff here is pretty friendly and helpful. Sanjay is really the best concierge! He knows who to talk to at places, and has great recommendations. We were able to get tickets to the Palace of Versailles and the Louvre through him. Even with the additional cost of service it was worth it to skip the lines and go on a day that we wanted. The location was so ideal. We were within walking distance to places, but not so close that we were across from any specific landmark where it would be more congested and possibly louder. There was a ton of great restaurants and shopping in the area. The downside was the room configuration. I knew the place would be small but it felt like 2 pieces of luggage open at the same time occupied a lot of floor space. I think I would have preferred to have the shower behind a door as opposed to being so exposed in the room as well. We had trouble with knowing how to work the thermostat and turning on the air conditioning so it made it a little more difficult to sleep when it got warmer. The lights also didn't seem bright enough and the lamp on the table kind of blocked a view of the tv. The modern decor made the room feel warm and inviting to offset the size of the space. The prices were reasonable though, and glad there was a mini fridge for us to store some extra water bottles.

Yelp
I booked 2 rooms at this hotel for myself and a colleague with high hopes. As I frequent Paris often for business I was hoping to find another reliable hotel in St Germain. I booked a few months in advance and gave my cc info. Shortly after, I received an email from Hotel Artus' concierge email account welcoming me. However, a couple days before my trip I received an email from a "Hotel de Buci" saying I had an reservation, to which I denied, saying I had no reservation and I asked to cancel. However arriving in Paris I realized that the Hotel Artus was located on Rue De Buci when I passed the address to my taxi driver. At 6 PM in the taxi, realizing that I may have accidentally canceled my reservation I immediately called Hotel Artus and found the "Hotel Artus & Hotel de Buci" are part of the same group! I inquired whether they had reservations for either myself or my colleague at either location - to which they replied no. Apparently they had emailed me from the "Hotel de Buci" email account to confirm my reservation for "Hotel Artus." I guess they expect everyone to know they are the same group?! They couldn't provide a reason why they were confirming my stay from a DIFFERENT email account and they said they had no rooms available for our full stay. I verbally said I might need them to hold rooms for us for one night. However, on the way I found other accommodations online and did not call back. The next day they emailed me to tell me 1)while they canceled my original reservation I hadn't specifically canceled my colleagues reservation which was on my cc and they were charging me a full night--I didn't even know I was canceling MY own reservation bc it was from a different email account, so why would I cancel my colleagues!? (2) because i said I may need them to hold rooms for my colleague and I on the phone they were charging me for an additional two rooms in addition to my colleagues reservation which I had not canceled! At 6PM they weren't selling those rooms anyway so they were maximizing their revenue at my expense and taking even more advantage of their OWN error . Completely unethical! I'm disputing the charges and lambasting a corrupt or stupid staff. Any advice on how to combat this would be appreciated!

Yelp
I've stayed here at least four times for stays of at least 6 nights and I love it. The hotel is so charming and the location is amazing.

Yelp
We had the most fantastic time at this hotel! The location was superb- near many cafes, shops, and patisseries. The staff was exemplary. The rooms were cozy as one might expect but was sufficient for our needs.
