Hotel Ascovilla

The Hotel is the perfect balance between a touch of luxury and familiar atmosphere. The rooms are contemporary but warm, as well as the restaurant and other spaces. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Excellent breakfast. Pool and Garden are beautiful and private. Very quiet during night since no car traffic around. 2 minutes walf to the promenade. Great stay.

Just perfect, friendly and welcoming with the personal touch. Fantastic room, the view from the balcony of the garden was lovely and peaceful. Great food and the staff went out of their way to be helpful offering advice on places to visit. Our first time at the Ascovilla hopefully it won’t be the last.

We are very satisfied with the quality of accommodation, food and service. The suites are very spacious and the staff keep the rooms in immaculate condition. We took the half-board/golf package, a great way to end (or start) the season. Thank you for the excellent experience, we will be back soon.

A very well run hotel. The very pleasant owner lady is hands on and liable to turn up anywhere! |Well equipped modern room. Close to both the lake and the centre of Ascona. Excellent inclusive Dinner. Before we arrived we’d contemplated upgrading to the a la carte one night but there’s really no need - it’s very good quality and charged out to package guests at CHF50 per person - you really don’t get much for that in Switzerland these days!! |The hotel laid on a complimentary taxi to & from Locarno station - a nice touch.|All in all a lovely end to our holiday.

We had a most pleasant stay in the lovely sourroundings of the Ascovilla. The room was lovely and extreme clean, as was everywhere else in the hotel. The garden was beautiful an the pool exellent. Staff was exremely friendly and helpful.|The only remark would be that price is a bit on the high side.

A beautiful semi-secluded hotel away from the hassle & bussle but close enough with a 5 minute stroll to be at the lake and centre of Ascona. |Service in the hotel was very friendly, staff and managers are very welcoming and we were very well taken care of during our entire stay. Breakfast is great and caters for everyone’s taste - and we ate twice dinner and both time it was excellent with attentive and friendly service. Most impressed with the General Manager Mrs Margot Faucherre who seems to present 7/111 and helping out whenever a helping hand, advice or information was needed. Whenever I’ll be in Ascona again this will be definitely the hotel i’ll be staying again - Loved it 💕

Dream Hotel for old and young ❤️ The hotel is very well situated, right on the Swiss coastline of lake Maggiore, next to the infamous hotel Eden Rock in Ascona. It is easy to reach the town center by walk within just 5 minutes, or even easier and faster with the bikes of the hotel. Though, the hotel was very quite with a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable, already renovated and very clean. Nice turn down service in the evening. The breakfast buffet was rich, offering buffet and á la minute orders. Great thank you to the staff. They were very friendly, helpful and very attentive. For e.g. we put our glasses of orange juice down on an empty table in the morning. When we came back from the buffet the table was already perfectly set. 😍👏 The pool is quite big and heated, offering a pool bar and pool side restaurant, where you can order drinks and snacks during the day. Very well done. We are happy to be back.

Rooms are very good. Excellent AC which was really important on these hot days. We also had a small yet pleasant balcony. Public areas don’t have AC or fans and this is a pity since they are empty most of the time. |Pool is just the right temperature and the garden is very well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and definitely hope to come again.
