Hotel Astoria

This is an old style hotel .However, because it is managed by the derby hotel collection, it has the same supplies as the other two. So The details are very good, it is also very clean, and I found the mattresses are high-end and comfortable. cost-effective, the rooms are larger than the other two, and my room has a soundproof door so it's very quiet. Although there were some cleaning problems, the manager helped me solve them very sincerely, which made me feel at ease. So I will choose to stay here in the future.

I highly recommend this hotel. It is clean and the staff were wonderful. Our bed was very comfortable. The best feature is that it is in a part of Barcelona that felt very safe- even walking home from dinner in the dark. The prices are very reasonable. We have been to Barcelona so did not need a place close to the tourist spots.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel in Barcelona! The attention to detail was truly impressive—when the staff learned it was my colleague’s birthday, they surprised her with a cake and a bottle of wine in her room, which was such a thoughtful touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel so welcome. The service was top-notch, the food was delicious, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient. All of this at such a great price—highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is so beautiful! It really has a level of elegance and old school glamour that makes you feel fancy. Location in the heart of L’Eixample, easy access to metro, many MANY restaurants and bars around. The rooms are small but beds are comfortable. Pool and rooftop terrace are small, but gorgeous view. The hallways can be loud when the cleaning service is making their rounds - the management easily and quickly moved us to a quieter floor. Would love to stay here again. Thank you!

Our stay was so beautiful here. The location was excellent for all the tourist attractions we had planned, the neighborhood offers so many dining options for anytime of the day, it is very close to a lot of shopping centers and public transportation within walking distance, and thr hotel itself was an experience. Everyone at the front desk was always friendly & and exceptional with anything we needed help or directions with. The quality of our room was beautiful & comfortable, the hospitality was lovely & the housekeeping staff was so amazing, always went above and beyond. We would highly recommend this beautiful place and would happily stay here again thr next time we visit Barcelona.

The hotel is charming, with friendly and attentive staff who ensure guests feel at ease from arrival. So it has a welcoming atmosphere. A highlight is the rooftop, offering lovely views of the city, a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the skyline.

Not the best. The receptionists were not really friendly. The restaurant didn’t do the reservation for me & I had to always say my room number before sitting down in the restaurant. In other hotels they know which room number has booked the breakfast and they do a table reservation for that room number beforehand. I also had to drink almost a cold Moroccan tea because I was not informed I could order warm tea/coffee at the first breakfast I had. At the last breakfast they came to me and asked whether I wanted to have a warm drink/warm breakfast meal. I also told them the fridge in the room didn’t work and they didn’t do anything about it. It was not the best experience overall.

The location is great: close to bars, restaurants and shopping. Staff was helpful and the rooms were clean. We booked a "regular" room, which seemed to be one with a window facing nothing. It was dark all day (had to google the weather) and not sure what would happen in case of a fire. I recommend to make sure you select a room facing the outside.

Location: great Room: spacious and comfortable Breakfast buffet: outstanding This spot was cheaper than many nearby hotels and honestly couldn't have set us up better for our stay. We opted for the "breakfast buffet included" which was definitely worthwhile and one of the best breakfast buffets we've ever had. The hotel also comes with *free access* to the Egyptian Museum which is a great bonus!

The best part of this hotel, in my opinion, was the location. It was located in a great section of the city. Close enough to everything without being stuck in the super touristy part of the madness. The room was small but very nice and kept clean. The staff was friendly. They get the 4 stars for all of the above reasons. Nothing exceptionally mind blowing, but it did the job. I wouldn't mind staying in this hotel again if I returned to Barcelona. Go and ENJOY!!!

What an experience! My boyfriend and I came to Barcelona for a couple days and absolutely loved Astoria. The rooms were great, staff is super friendly, and the location is pretty close to everything. Check out time is 12pm, and our flight didn't leave until 7pm that evening. They were more than willing to hold our bags for us while we went to grab a bite to eat, and also let us hangout at the pool until we needed to leave. Thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend to anyone who comes to Barcelona!

Good hotel super friendly staff, the rooms are spacious and modern. Free wi-fi i would definitely go back to Barcelona and check in this hotel again.

Great club. Nice atmosphere, very nice decor, friendly personel and very service minded host. Good food, great mojitos (a bit too great haha) and fast bartenders. We organised a private businessparty there till 11 and afterwards the club was open for everyone. Had a great time and im considering spending new years eve there as well.
