Hôtel Astoria Carcassonne

Great location (especially if you are travelling by train) being 5 minutes from loads of bars & restaurants and around 20 to the old city. We were able to check in at midday, the room was basic, but clean. Didn't have breakfast as departed early. Good budget choice.

Fantastic, wonderful, family run hotel, Sabrina met us at check in (was able to do early check in ) the room is good size, great bed bathroom very nice, hot water pot and good internet. We didn't use the TV but it was there. Heat was working well and needed. It's on a side street so quiet. We walked from train station in 5 minutes. Sabrina had tourist maps in Spanish, English and French. And explained what to do how to get there. Breakfast was very good as well and worth the additional cost. We felt that the hotel was a good value and was very clean as well. Book direct with them on their website to save then paying commission. We were glad we found them.

A small hotel that packs a big punch. Really well thought out rooms with good shower, comfortable bed, nice linen. We had to leave very early so sadly missed the breakfast. Perfect location for exploring Carcassonne and very reasonably priced. We booked direct and got it cheaper than in a booking platform. A warm friendly welcome from the receptionist. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Very pleasant family hotel, 10mns walk from the town centre, 30mns walk from the mediaeval City. Quiet area.

Hotel rooms are on a quiet street. Guests need access code to enter the complex. Security is good. The room is clean. Hotel provides air conditioning, kettle, blower, one gel for shower and hair, and towels. Absolutely will stay again. Need to bring two-round-pin charger.

Small simple hotel, warm and comfortable room. Very clean, recently redecorated and relatively new furnishings . En suite also near new. Good breakfast. Located near many food options, rail station and town centre. Garage parking available at small charge. Helpful hosts. Nothing negative at all. Recommended

Don't let the outside of this hotel put you off, the rooms inside are nice. They were able to put up a family of 4 at short notice and had a room with a double bed and bunk in the annex next door. Room was basic, but clean and nicely decorated. Cost was a reasonable 155 euro with a continental breakfast which was fresh. Receptionist was very nice and helpful. Location is very close to Carcassonne station.

We booked a night here which gave us enough time to fully explore the medieval city. The rooms were clean, beds comfy and spacious, the staff were polite and breakfast was good for a 2 star hotel. The woman who met us at the desk did her best to speak English which was appreciated
