*Astoria Hotel Lucerne Review*
We had a fantastic 3-night stay at the Astoria Hotel in Lucerne. The hotel's rules were a bit strict, requiring a room key to access the floor and a deposit upon arrival. Additionally, rooms were pre-assigned, and our group of 8 wasn't able to get rooms near each other. However, the hotel staff accommodated our needs by placing the kids' rooms on the same floor and the adults' rooms on separate floors.
*Highlights:*
- *Great Rooms and Breakfast*: Our rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. I'd give it a 10/10!
- *Dining Options*: The hotel has multiple restaurants, including Thai, Italian, Asian, Chinese, and Japanese Ramen. The Rooftop Bar offers a great selection of wine and spirits, with a fantastic view.
- *Staff*: The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home.
- *Hotel Layout*: The hotel has a spacious layout, with a sitting area on the 1st floor and easy access to the main desk via escalator, stairs, or elevator.
*Overall Experience:*
Despite some initial challenges with room assignments, we had a great time at the Astoria Hotel. The hotel's amenities and staff made our stay enjoyable, and we'd definitely consider returning.
*Rating:*
I'd give the Astoria Hotel 4.5/5 stars. While there were some minor issues with room assignments, the hotel's strengths outweighed its weaknesses.
