Hotel Atlantic

We were pleasantly surprised by Hotel Atlantic. This beautiful Belle Époque seafront building is impeccably maintained. The hotel features a lovely restaurant on the ground floor with stunning ocean views.||Our room was spacious, with a king-sized bed and the added luxury of split air conditioning. Breakfast was excellent, offering a great start to the day.||But the highlight was the service. Despite the parking lot being full, reception found us a spot, and the breakfast staff were attentive, courteous, and welcoming. Truly the cherry on top of our stay!

When we arrived, my wife unfortunately fell as we were crossing the road to the hotel and hurt her face and arm. The receptionist, Erinne, was AMAZING. She appeared in seconds, helped me get my wife and our luggage off the pavement and into the hotel, called an ambulance and took our luggage to our room. She arranged for a waiter to drive us back from the hospital and he took our room service order on the way back.|The hotel is right on the sea front, our room was large and comfortable, with a terrific sea view. The food was good, although it's hard to judge from a hurried meal in our room - my wife couldn't chew so she had soup.|There was a storm brewing with high winds, so we didn't venture onto the promenade, but we had a fabulous view while eating breakfast.|We will definitely be staying there again!

We had a very pleasant stay - our room was elegant and the sea view magnificent. I have posted a further review of our excellent dinner. As to value it is expensive compared to others in the same class but we were happy with our experience.

We had a beautiful room with a balcony - fabulous sea views. The room was spacious and comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. The welcome we had was lovely and friendly. There was also a convenient car park which is very useful in a seaside town like Wimereux. A very, very small negative was lack of milk and good tea bags in the room! (But we are used to that being English and always bring our own when we travel in France). The breakfast was great and the restaurant area also had a great sea view, to be noted was that the breakfast staff were particularly helpful and friendly.

Great hotel, we really enjoyed our stay here. Had the room with balcony and it has a stunning panoramic view. Only the hotel parking spot was full a couple of times so we had to park our car in the streets a few times which has paid parking. Hotel parking spot has chargers for electric vehicles but it only works via a specific app which I was unable to use because I can't add my charging card in that app. There are very limited chargers available in Wimereux which were occupied most of the times which limited our mobility and also made me nervous if I'd be able to get enough range on my car to leave the area.

Had a one night stay at the Atlantic. Olivia made sure we had a parking space when we arrived at 9.00pm. Had a very comfortable nights stay lovely and interesting rooms. Great meal and restaurant. Would recommend the hotel

Lovely comfortable hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Alll rooms have a view of the sea. The restaurant, while no longer Michelin starred, still offers expertly cooked food. My only slight criticism is that the tables in the new restaurant are too close together. A few less tables and a bit more space between would be an improvement.

This is quite simply the best French restaurant I have ever been to. The menu is fabulous! Beautifully prepared dishes exquisitely presented and served with class. The restaurant has a reputation amongst the locals and you will have to book in advance, especially on a Saturday night, but if you get a clear spring day it's totally worth it as you will enjoy a fantastic meal as you admire the sun setting over the English Channel!

This place used to exude 1930s glamour, and is still a fine place to enjoy a breezy lunch on the terrace ( with a sea view). The rooms have recently undergone a thorough re-vamp, which has received mixed reviews from visitors.

A favourite place of my parents for the last 15 years and finally I got treated to a weekend in July. The hotel is lovely - we had a room with a seaview which meant tons of fresh sea air in the morning and a good view for people watching while getting ready! Lovely bar with friendly staff and plenty of seating inside and outside on the seafront. But it's the restaurant that really stands out. The food literally could not have been nicer. Every one of the 7 courses was perfect - could not fault them at all. The fish was fresh and cooked in different and interesting ways, with portions just the right size. The desserts are delicate and pretty and lovely. The dining room itself is old school posh restaurant but not stuffy and has a whole wall of windows overlooking the sea, so you can appreciate the gorgeous sunset while you're sipping fine wines and cognac.
