We spent a very pleasant week in a clean and comfortable room in this hotel just a minute from the beach. |Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Many return guests.|The restaurant attached to the hotel (Restaurante Carvalho) serves great food with generous portions, particularly the steak on a hot stone.|Recommended.

I highly recommend this Hotel. The rooms were very clean, it was a great value, location was convenient, and a wonderful breakfast was included. I would stay here another night if we were not on a schedule.

Best location adequate small room but no Aircon. Gladly provided a fan. The stay includes a buffet breakfast which is well worth it. Very near the beach and entertainment. Will visit again.

A centrally located hotel with views of the bay. Comfortable rooms with friendly staff and a great buffet breakfast. We were there out of season so the room rate was fantastic for the quality. ||The hotel has its own restaurant which is open to none residents. There is a lift so no carrying your luggage up flights of stairs .

I have just spent 4 nights at this lovely little hotel, just off the main seafront. All the staff were really helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They have a restaurant attached to the hotel which provided a very comprehensive buffet breakfast and is a great place to eat at lunchtime or in the evenings. The food was delicious with generous portions for a very reasonable price. The rooms are compact but have all you might need provided, with the exception of tea/coffee making facilities. There was cable TV and Wi-Fi access, although the latter was a little slow. A great spot for a relaxing holiday with the beautiful sandy beach only a few hundred yards away and lots of seaside cafes and restaurants (seafood specialities) to choose from. A word of caution however - some of these were closing for the winter after the end of September.

I stayed at the Atlantica for 3 nights. The pension is centrally located just off the seafront. The rooms are very small but quaint and typically Portuguese. The room was spotless and had a tiny balcony with french windows. Breakfast was excellent with a huge choice including hot options. The pension was ideal for a single person but maybe a little cramped for a couple. I would definitely stay there again.

For what we were looking for, it was amazing, everything was very clean, we booked online, and a lovely breakfast, we lot to choose. Very friendly staff. We will come back for shore.

This hotel is close to beach, has clean beautiful rooms (with Portuguese tiles on walls) and offers a generous breakfast. Very priced and although listed as a two-star hotel it is top of the list for me! Close by is the path going up to the 'old town' with the cafe selling delicious cakes and the restaurant A Nova Gaito - both of these are quieter than on the sea front. Hotel Atlantica is the perfect place to stay in this delightful town on a bay.
