Great ambiance. Lovely hotel staff, friendly and helpful. Location is great as it is walkable to the Pantheon (Eiffel Tower is viewable from here) and Notredame. Lots of cafes and restaurants for meals and/or drinks, same with bakeries, mini-grocery stores and pharmacies nearby. Not to mention all the unique shops and boutiques to check out. Metro is also nearby and easy to access.

A great base for a few nights in Paris. The neighbourhood is perfect, close to the bustling heart of the Latin quarter, but in a quiet, convenient location, with some fabulous restaurants nearby. We appreciated the proximity to the river, a great metro line, Notre Dame, Pont Neuf etc. Our ground floor suite was enormous! It had everything you could possibly need & was comfortable, stylish & looked brand new. Housekeeping was excellent, breakfast was good but what made it were the staff. They were wonderful & took a genuine interest in our trip. If we return to Paris, I would definitely return. 100% recommended.

We enjoyed this boutique hotel very much. I needed an accessible room and was unsure how it would be, but it was great. Located right next to the elevator, good grab bars, zero threshold shower and good bed height, the room was designed better than the accessible rooms I've stayed in in the States. If you use a wheelchair or scooter, this hotel is a great option. Plus, the central location in the Latin Quarter can't be beat. Highly recommend!

Google
We loved our stay! Everything is very clean, the room is comfortable, it also has a small balcony, which is great. The staff is wonderful, super attentive. The location is amazing. You can walk to a lot of attractions and it’s also very close to different metro station so you can take Subway when it’s further away.

Hotel Atmospheres did not disappoint. Located in the beautiful Latin Quarter, it was a perfect place for a 3-day weekend stay in Paris. As others have noted, the rooms are small, but my room was tastefully decorated with all the amenities necessary. The Honesty Bar offered a convenient place to have a drink with friends at the end of the day. Hotel staff is courteous and helpful. I would definitely book this hotel again.

This was a birthday trip for my husband and daughter|Lovely greeting when we got there. Beautiful room over looking a small courtyard, so quiet. Felt very Parisian |Beds were very firm, we love that.|The shower was amazing. Three shower heads in a double shower, luxury.|Breakfast, we were greeted by the most lovely waitress who speaks at least 6 languages and we so friendly.|The food was delicious and a great choice and so fresh.|Check out was lovely and easy.||The area is a short walk to Notre Dame yet so quiet in the hotel.|Would definitely re book if we go back to Paris||Thank you for a great stay.

Loved this hotel! The room was nice, location was incredible. Walkable to Notre Dame where we attends the Gregorian mass. Loved the neighborhood feel with great restaurants close by. Highly recommend.

Google
Very clean hotel located in the heart of a very vibrant, eclectic locale. Within 15 minutes of walking, there are numerous bistros and full fledged restaurants, a colorful market, and of course, Notre Dame. The breakfast was a real treat, complete with various cheeses, lots of pastries, and a great selection of meats and rustic breads. Would go again!

Yelp
Stayed here 6 nights in Feb 2024. Its a modern boutique hotel with a simple yet amazing breakfast. They gave a massage bed and a sauna room which we used after being tired with all the walking in Paris. The staff was friendly and helpful. Location is in Latin Quarter close to everything. I'd stay here again.

Yelp
Cute place. Located reasonably near the Eiffel and other spots. Has a cute little "Honesty Bar" get a drink and pay as you go. Pharmacy right across the street w a convenient Pizza restaurant next door. Room we had was extremely small. Fits just the bare, bare, bare necessity for sleep, shower and a small airplane size toilet to conduct your business. In their defense, we had myself, my wife and daughter with us. I wld give it 3.5 stars, top, but, honestly the small accommodations make me slightly lean towards 3 stars. Above average hotel. Breakfast downstairs is nice. 3 types cereal, scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, coffee, teas, 3 types juices, milk, pastries, jams and sweets and some cold cuts are served buffett style. Friendly staff and the small restaurant is quaint, clean and convenient. You can also reserve the small gym. 3 cardio machines (treadmill, bike & elliptical) private shower, Sauna (must notify front desk to warm sauna) and also offers a water massage table available. Towels are provided (bring your own water bottle) Nice place.

Yelp
Loved it! My first time to Paris from NJ, USA. Great location in the Latin district, clean , new room and friendly and helpful staff. Plus a great breakfast in the basement each day. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Very good hotel! Nice staff members and an excellent breakfast selection! The rooms are a bit small but that's normal for this area.

Yelp
Amazing stay! Why only 4 stars? well the rooms are extremely small but also I understand that this is Paris. We checked in at around 7pm, the lady that works the front desk, mostly in the morning, was extremely friendly which is sometimes hard to find in Paris. She made sure she explained everything about the hotel to us. She also mentioned that for security the key has to always be dropped at the front desk before we go out, which sounded a little weird but it was extremely convenient that it was never and issue when leaving or coming back to the hotel. Front desk runs 24 hrs. Excellent things about this place: Always hot water and great pressure, free water massage bed on the lower level (use as much as you can!), buffet breakfast is great from 7-11am, bacon, sausage, eggs, pastries, yogurts, gluten free items, fruit, cheeses, juices, coffee and tea. Free coffee in lobby between 3-6pm. The honest bar, basically serve yourself from the bar and just mark on the preset form what you consumed, the same applies to the breakfast, an amazing concept. The not so good: Gym is lacking, room tiny. I had pre-booked using Expedia but if you book thru their website you get the free breakfast buffet included. We love the location of this one and coming back. Also we noted that we wanted a quiet room and was given room on the 5th floor facing the street which had a good view and extremely quiet. Great job with this hotel would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
I stayed here for 5 nights around the holidays and it was great! Pros: - Friendly, accommodating staff who all spoke great english - Nice, roomy lobby area - Very clean, modern rooms - Great breakfast buffet - more than enough options for me and I am a picky vegetarian! - Walking distance to all the big sites including Notre Dam Cons: - Not many! Very small rooms, but that's the norm for a European hotel - On a busy street so could be a bit loud, but if you're on a higher floor you won't notice

Yelp
The staff of this hotel are outstanding in their desire to please and in their competence. The rooms are good with comfortable beds and great showers, although more electrical outlets would be nice. I can vouch for the air-conditioning, which, unlike so many other places in Paris, was strong enough to keep it comfortable even in the recent heat wave. The buffet breakfast was good, although maybe not quite worth the price if it's not included with your room. Try staying at small hotels like this one instead of the corporate giants, and have a more authentic local experience.

Yelp
Good: Nice, clean hotel in a great neighborhood. Reasonably priced. Staff is friendly. Bad: Wifi is sloooooow. My T Mobile 2G data was faster. UPDATE: Taking away a star because the front desk attendant went through our luggage while we went to breakfast...... On our last day, we left our suitcases with the attendant because we didn't want to drag them around Paris before our taxi to the airport. When we travel we always tie a small piece of thread a few times through the two zippers on each suitcase. (Just to know if the airport baggage handlers have opened them.) When we came back from breakfast, the seal on one of the suitcases was broken. Not sure if the attendant took anything, but either way not cool.

Yelp
If you're looking for the perfect hotel in Paris, you just found it! My boyfriend and I spent a week in Paris for Valentines day this year and we stayed at Hotel Atmospheres. It's a boutique hotel in Saint Germain with the perfect location. It's close to the train and there are plenty of attractions in walking distance. There is a pharmacy across the street, a small grocery store, restaurants, and cafés nearby as well. The service was EXCEPTIONAL. This is the only hotel I want to stay in when I visit Paris again! The front desk attendant greeted us as we came and went, called cabs for us, gave us great recommendations, directions, free umbrellas with the hotel logo when it rained, and they were always pleasant. We even got a complimentary bottle of champagne on Valentine's Day! I love love loved the breakfast each morning! The freshly cut fruit and croissants were amazing! They had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and an assortment of cheeses in typical French fashion. Tea and coffee were served all day! Our room was the perfect size. Not as big as typical American hotels of course, but it was perfect. You will love they way it's designed and decorated! We had several friends come over and meet us in our room for drinks before heading out to Moulin Rouge and they keep telling us how fantastic our hotel was compared to theirs. They will also lend you converters for the outlets with a $10 deposit, so no need buy one before you go. The gym was great! I managed to squeeze in one workout while I was there. They also have a sauna, water massage bed, and a LipoSculpt machine! It was awesome! The hotel definitely had a romantic feel to it. It would be perfect for an anniversary. I loved it so much, I didn't want to leave!

Yelp
Hotel Atmospheres must be judged against other Paris central area establishments, which means I can't complain about the room being small. So I won't. Otherwise, service was courteous and available, the facilities and our room were clean and in excellent repair, the wifi worked, and the breakfast was abundant. We got a pretty good deal pricewise too, but I pre-bought when the Euro was very low. Location is the other major issue, and for tourists you could hardly find a better spot, just a couple of blocks sound of Notre Dame. The nearest Metro stops are all about 0.5 km away, which is a bit far considering how many stops there are in this part of the city, but if you can't walk 0.5 km, Paris is probably not for you.
google avatar

David E.

Yelp
I tell no lies. The rooms are tiny. About the size of a postage stamp. BUT they are clean, the staff is very helpful, and you will never find a better location unless you sleep in a box underneath Notre Dame. I already plan on staying here again in the future.

Yelp
Quaint boutique hotel in the Latin Quarter. We arrived at 10 am and were able to check in! Everyone working at this hotel is so nice! I felt welcomed and safe during our stay. It's a great price for a visit to Paris with plenty around to walk to.
google avatar

Yelp
Small hotel, well furnished, friendly staff that speaks English. Unbeatable location in Latin Quarter quite close to metro and easy to get to most sights! Only weird thing was at the last night I asked for just a little bit of ice for my injured knee in the evening and the front desk (only one man in the entire hotel - they seem quite understaffed) insisted "no, it's too late" even though on another day they had delivered a bucket even later. Also, since when is a small bit of ice delivered to the room too big of a request for a paying customer in a hospitality establishment? Very confused and off put by that, but otherwise stay was good.

Yelp
We stayed here for two nights last weekend, we chose this hotel because our friends were staying here for a week. Those friends stayed based upon a family member's recommendation. I really enjoyed our stay here. We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival, which was amazing because that's never happened to me. Our suite was awesome, we had a nespresso maker, shower with two rain shower heads and a separate bath, toilet in a separate room. I think we would have enjoyed our stay just as much if we were not upgraded, our friends were in the standard double room and said it was really nice. We did not have a balcony but our friends said they had a small one. The rooms (and lobby for that matter) are spacious and trendy yet comfortable. They have free wifi, and will give you a separate code for each device. They also have ipads for use in the lobby which are really convenient. There is an honor bar in the lobby - you fill out a sheet as you would with the mini bar and submit what you had to the front desk, both are fairly affordable, especially for Paris. Downstairs there is a gratis hydrotherapy bed (I think it's like a vibrating water-bed), my friend did it and said it was amazing, I forgot to try it out unfortunately. This was a great location, maybe a 5 minute walk to a metro stop (Maubert, 10 line), 5 minute walk to the Pantheon (uphill!) and about 10-15 minutes to Notre Dame. Lots of cafes in the area to choose from. They offer breakfast for 16 euro at the hotel. We did hear some noise from the street, not enough to disturb us, but audible. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, I think the rates are very reasonable for the quality and the location. I highly recommend.

Yelp
We arrived well before check in (which is 2pm...we arrived at 10:00am) and were pleasantly surprised to find out that our room was ready and we could check in immediately. This was especially appreciated as it was pouring outside and we had opted to take the RER which required a 10 minute walk to the hotel (from the Luxembourg station)...we were like two wet poodles by the time we arrived and were drenched to the bone. The gentleman working the desk was excellent...he explained the room key to us (we're on the third floor yet our key is 233) and he explained the lobby honour bar and the breakfast options. We made our way to the room and we are quite happy with it. The room is perfect by Paris standards..well laid out, modern, tastefully decorated with a street view with Juliet balcony. The bathroom is uber chic....led lights in a black ceiling that appear to be stars when turned on, red bath tiles, modern floating sink. Much larger than expected. The toilet is in a seperate room which makes getting ready easier in the morning. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Cluney Museum and Notre Dame is less than 10 minutes away. Jardin du Luxembourg (where the RER drops you off) is a 10 minute walk away. The Good: * gorgeous rooms and bathrooms * great location * wonderful, friendly staff, all fluent in several languages * very, very comfortable beds * quiet interior...we never heard our neighbors in their rooms * while staying here, I became ill (not from the hotel) and required a physician. They immediately contacted one who was there fairly quickly. After the doctor left, they called to see if I required anything to make the day more comfortable. Super classy and totally unexpected. The Bad: * wifi is not great....slowed down * the business centre is very small and a bit outdated. I tried to upload some photos to Facebook and in 1/2 hr I managed to only uploaded one ! * although there is a thermostat in your room, the temperature is controlled hotel - wide...which means you can't set the temperature in your room (ie-you can't turn the air on if the hotel hasn't turned theirs on) We had to sleep with our windows wide open for a breeze on the first two nights...and the street noise was quite loud. This was rectified a few days later when the temperature rose and the air came on.

Yelp
As cliche as it sounds (and is) boo and I chose to spend our honeymoon in Paris. We don't have children yet and figured if there was ever a time to spend 10 days in France it was now. Neither of us had ever been there however much of my family has and after some discussion it was clear that the best fit for us was the Latin Quarter. We came across Atmospheres through trip adviser and it is smack dab in the middle of everything which was key because we planned on walking a lot as a way of combating the insane amount of bread and cheese we would eat. Rue des Ecoles is in between the Pantheon area which has a lot of college type bars, and Rue des St. Germaine which has just about everything else you could ever want. The hotel is very modern and clean. We were greeted by a woman at the front desk who was fluent in English and extremely helpful as we were 6 hours early for our check in. She took our bags and gave us some areas to check out while we waited. When we were able to go in our room the first thing we had to get used to was the size. It was very small compared to American hotels we were used to but definitely accommodating. There was a king sized bed that was by far the most comfortable I'd ever been in at a hotel. The bathroom had a separate room for the toilet and ample space to move around in the morning. They had free wifi which was a huge bonus and allowed me to check in on all the happenings in Philadelphia sports and also allowed us to download movies to the ipad as the only English stations on TV were CSPAN, ICNN, and BBC. Next time we go I'd like to check out a more traditional hotel but for this trip it was just about what we could have asked for and I'd recommend it to any of my friends and family.

Yelp
Great location. Reasonable prices. Pleasant employees speaking perfect English. Small but well appointed rooms, above average for Paris. What more could you ask for?

Dave H.

Yelp
We stayed in this hotel for ten days. The one star is for the location only. Anything else sucks. Strange smell is everywhere. The room is very small and NO place to put anything! The bathroom is large enough. But there's no place for anything. We have to put toothpaste and toothbrush in closet. There's one cup on the corner of the tiny sink. one cup for two people? It's so weird they put towels on the floor. Unbelievable the bathroom was flooded after I took a shower! Some towels were wet cause they were on floor. Oh. The breakfast: very limited food. I almost threw up after had one bite of the bacon because it's raw and hard! People have to use the same plate for buffet. It's ridiculous! I certainly don't recommend this hotel!
google avatar

Helmut B.

Yelp
Great location, staff and overall experience. The rooms are a bit small versus US standards but the high quality appointments and swanky decoration make up for it. They have parking spots available in a private garage around the corner - car was safe and secure. Sorbonne location was quite and chocked full of food options.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel. Well decorated. Beautiful lighting, furniture & bathrooms. Has a sauna & water massage table. Would recommend!!

Yelp
This is a cozy hotel with good standards close to Notre-Dame. Nothing much else to say:) I recommend it.

Yelp
It was in a decent party of the city, and there were places accessible to eat and get common things like water and fruits and snacks and liquor. I didn't like how most of the photos online we're more vivid then the biggest 4 person "suite" we got, ours was maybe older.. Only a small refrigerator in the room and an espresso maker. I would have preferred a microwave but I have no idea how common they are in Europe in hotels..I liked the staff, kind of bizarre they make you turn in your room key upon leaving the hotel each time (24 hour door service) but still odd. They have a WONDERFUL breakfast that runs until about 11 and is convenient before leaving the hotel to tour. They have a great small gym and massage water bed!

Yelp
My family and I stayed here for three nights on vacation. This hotel was the best we have stayed at. The room was nice and we had a balcony view, the shower was a two headed rain shower, and they had a sauna and massages. However, the best part of this hotel was the people. Everyone was really kind and helpful to us Americans traveling through a foreign country. They gave us directions and recommendations. The breakfast was amazing with croissants, cheese, and espressos. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Yelp
This is the place to stay when visiting Paris. Hotel Atmospheres is located within walking distance to the Louvre and Notre Dame but also has two really close metro stops and bus stops. There is a nice market with meat, cheese, and pastry shops if you want any snacks. The rooms are super cute and clean. The best part about the hotel is the staff. Saad went above and beyond to help us use the metro and RER, book Versailles tickets, and make reservations at delicious restaurants. There were also two women in the morning (sorry I forget there names) who were extremely welcoming and helpful with the metro and Louvre/Orsay tickets.

Kate L.

Yelp
While visiting France for the first time me and my family stayed in the Hotel Atmosphere. My IPad was taken out of my room while I was sightseeing. Once back home I emailed the hotel again, all I got was "we're sorry". Terrible do not recommend unless you want your items taken.

Mbmba B.

Yelp
Do not book the hotel directly through thier site like I did. When things go wrong, the hotel management does not care. You don't have any fall back option other than doing a chargeback through your credit card company. We had an issue with our hotel rooms that they refused to address. The rooms are really tiny. We understand rooms in Europe are smaller than the American counterparts. However, the rooms in this hotel are tinier than most. We hardly had any space in the room after we had our luggage and crib set. We had to check out the very next day and the hotel refused to issue a refund for the rest of our stay citing that our booking is non-refundable. Please stay away from this hotel!
google avatar

Anya L.

Yelp
Beware! Multiple personnel enters the rooms including the maid and person restoring the bar. Unfortunately, we had to report stolen money and property.

Markra M.

Yelp
What can I say, mix emotions with this hotel. They count infant as a full grown adult so I'm a party of 5 instead of 4. I had to book two suites to accommodate my family since I had no other option after a long flight. Booking.com and their website isn't as clear as they said it to be.

Melinda N.

Yelp
Perfect place to stay in Paris. Close walking to everything. Super friendly and helpful staff, clean hotel. Room was small but it worked fine for the two of us. It was clean, beds comfortable and even though it faced the street, it was quiet. I'd stay here again and highly recommend.
google avatar

Breanne M.

Yelp
LOVED out stay at Hotel Atmospheres! It's a 15minute or so ride in a taxi/uber from the Gare Du Nord Eurostar. It is a small room, typical of Europe, but of course we weren't going to be spending the majority of our time in the room so it wasn't a problem. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and didn't laugh too much when we almost checked out a day early-oops! vacation brain. The room itself was very clean and adorably decorated. The bed was comfy and windows opened out to a view of street which was fine bc the surrounding area is gorgeous. It does get a little loud in the evening, particularly on the weekends with people speaking loudly or yelling on the street, but close the window and it isn't bad. Our restroom (our own private toilet, shower, and sink) had the cutest vanity kits and the option to request a bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room when we walked in was a perfect welcome to the City of Love. This property is located in the Latin district, I know it's France, but there's an amazing Italian Restaurant next door to the hotel, and is a few minutes walk away from Notre Dame and the Sine River. The Eiffel Tower is about a 40minute walk from the hotel and while on that journey, you're able to walk through the Lourve, Champs Elysees, and Arc de Triomphe. We would definitely stay at this location again.

Lisa R.

Yelp
Loved this hotel! Extremely friendly and helpful staff, clean room, nice shower, and excellent location! I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat!
