We stayed at this hotel in June with family, and unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst hotel experience I’ve had to date. On the very first night, the air conditioning in our room wasn’t working—despite the sweltering heat outside. When I contacted the front desk around 10 PM, I was told that the lone staff member on duty could not do anything unless the hotel was literally on fire, as per management instructions. We were told the issue would be addressed the next day.
The following day, we were moved to a much smaller room, which had a broken mirror and was noticeably unclean. By that point, I was exhausted from the poor service and chose not to report it, especially since most of the front desk staff had been unhelpful and at times rude—except for one courteous young gentleman.
At checkout, I requested a refund for the first night and was told to email the hotel director. When I did, the response was incredibly defensive. Not only was my refund request denied, but I was falsely accused of breaking the mirror and leaving the room dirty. They even sent photos of used towels on the floor—as if guests are expected to fold towels before departure.
If you're planning a trip to Paris and want to enjoy your stay, I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. The experience was not only disappointing, but also a complete waste of time and money.
