Hôtel Au Lion - Ribeauvillé

Very good experience here. It's a very nice hotel with it's traditional Alsace style. The location is exceptional, on the main street of the town. Really valuable aspects are the owner and the breakfast. The owner is a truly kind guy, full of attentions for his guests. The breakfast is special, with traditional Alsacian foods.

This is a stylish and elegant boutique hotel in the heart of one of the prettiest towns in the Alsace region. Just love the decor, the great staff and the outstanding breakfast. Our bed was very, very comfortable. Great value for money and would love to return soon.

This place is not service orientated. Like most of Ribeauville they clearly are suffering from tourist fatigue. We asked for a table for 6 inside or outside. Inside was totally empty. In the end we walked out as we felt we were bothering the staff. The owner, sitting on the terrace on a table for 4 with one friend, very rudely, encouraged us to leave. And his insulting response to the review speaks for itself on how much he will value your custom.

Friendly and helpful service. Spacious rooms with a cute metal ventilator and adorable decorations. The hallway on our floor had a lovely table at the window with a view of the fountain. Quit, comfortable and charming. Our dog was more than welcome and felt at home! Breakfast was personal highlight. It had delicious bread, coffee and other treats. Even a little surprise! Also the interior on the ground floor is awesome! 10/10

Such a lovely cafe / restaurant. Lovely setting inside. Great service and the lady who served us was very nice and accommodating. She has a lovely touch of humour with a warm smile. 10 out of 10

We stayed at this hotel during our little road trip along the wine route. This hotel was actually the best hotel we have booked within the whole journey! Everything was wonderful - service, rooms, breakfast, staff, location. The standard double room is quite big and everything was very clean. The breakfast was lovely and the staff was especially kind. We will definitely return to this hotel!

Beautiful, tasty food. Great setting and concept, but... terrible service. If you're local, perhaps okay. If you speak fluent French but are from overseas, don't bother. We had no service whilst the locals nearby recieved the golden treatment. Never come across such a rude, dismissive woman that went so far out of her way to avoid paying customers.

Beautiful hotel. Try to arrive at a quiet time so you can find parking in the local big one. No parking to speak of nearer the hotel, but that would affect the beautiful village the hotel is situated in. Rooms are quite dark but a good size, and pretty quiet. We are at the kebab place across the road which was delicious!
