Hotel Aurel

Staff at reception and the restaurant were wonderful. Everyone spoke excellent English. Room was great- plenty of space nice furniture and very clean. The restaurant food was great For dinner and breakfast. The steak was amazing. And again, I couldn’t say too much about how helpful and kind the staff were.

Stayed in Hotel Aurel for 2 nights. The receptionist is very good and very accommodating. Breakfast buffet was fine, nothing extravagant (eggs, hotdogs, sausage, tomatoes, feta, bread, coffee and juices). Lunch buffet was alright as well (beef, fish, pasta, soup and rice with vegetables). I would recommend getting their coffee (not from the coffee machine). They also have a sauna and jacuzzi, which was really relaxing. Overall our stay was very pleasant and I would definitely stay again!

Clean and nice hotel. Staff very friendly. It has small and cozy gym and a spa as well! For me it was important that it has supermarket,some coffee shops and places to eat. If you like to walk center is not so far away(30 min).

Spacious, airy rooms, many with balconies as well which is a great addition. Staff were pretty friendly and accommodating which was appreciated. The buffet dinner had a varied selection albeit simple dishes, but definitely something for everyone. Breakfast felt a little more 'mediocre' for the quality but again they had a decent choice of eggs, cheese, meats, and fruit available so definitely gets the job done!

Was the contracted hotel with Austrian airlines following cancelled flight. Clean rooms and nice staff. Food was buffet for all three meals.

Do not Come here with a group tour, because there is just one elevator and the hotel begins from the second floor of the building. Breakfast was very poor, the only good thing about the hotel is there have fresh and delicious tiny croissants.

If I could put zero stars for the customer service at the hotel I definitely would !! Our flight was cancelled and the airline arranged accommodation for us with this hotel. Rooms were okay no problem and restaurant staff were nice too Problems started when we were checking out. They claimed we were supposed to pay a hefty amount of money for using their so called mini bar which was a fridge with drinks and snacks in the room . When we checked in to the room , the water and drinks were already used, no chocolate bar etc yet they were adamant and rude and asked us to pay regardless. After a lengthy back and forth the manager was threatening to call the police which I asked her to because they were clearly running a scam with that mini bar. We weren’t the only ones who faced the same issue that day . Other customers complained about the charges too. The cleaners left half opened can drinks and water in the rooms and unsuspecting customers were left to pay for them at checkout. Due to this we even missed the airport shuttle meant to transport us back to the airport and ended paying for a taxi out of our own pockets. Anyone who thinks this hotel deserves bookings should think twice Stay clear of them whenever you go to Podgorica. They’re not worth the money! Disgusting thieves

Recently, I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for one night as part of a group, and it was quite an impressive experience. Our group arrived quite late, beyond the regular dinner time, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that the thoughtful staff had prepared and left dinner portions in each room for us. Despite a few pieces of fish that didn't quite hit the mark, the overall meal was satisfactory, and the thoughtfulness behind this gesture was much appreciated. We were all very impressed with the hotel staff, who were polite, helpful, and quick to assist. Their excellent service greatly added to the quality of our stay and left a strong, positive impression on our group. In terms of accommodation, we found the rooms to be clean, spacious, and well-maintained. It was the sort of environment you'd want to relax in after a long day of travelling. And the breakfast the next morning was simply amazing! There was a great selection of food that catered to all tastes, and it really added a highlight to our brief stay. In light of our overall experience, we'd happily recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable, enjoyable stay with a service-oriented approach from the staff. This hotel truly made a mark, and we'd be glad to return in the future. We rate this hotel 4.5/5, only docking half a point due to the minor dinner issue.
