The hotel is great, rooms are big and clean, bed is comfy. There is a spa with a nice dry and wet sauna included in the room price. There is a building being built nearby so there's some noise during the day. Location is not great for walking, but a taxi to the city center is just 3 euros.

We chose this hotel mainly because it’s very close to the airport, and 100 euros for four people including breakfast is quite a bargain. The room was spacious, but the housekeeper forgot to provide us with bath towels and the duvets. One of the rooms was even locked. We had to run to reception several times to get things sorted. We ended up finding the duvets ourselves in the cupboard and had to put the covers on them. The staff were polite and friendly. As we had an early flight the next day and couldn’t have breakfast, the hotel kindly prepared a lunch bag for us, which included a bottle of water, a ham and cheese panini, an apple and a banana. They also helped us book a taxi to the airport for 17 euros. You do need to pay the city tax at the hotel as well, which was about 2 pounds per person.

We stayed in a triple room with balcony - it was spacious, modern, spotlessly cleaned & with all needed amenities. The complimentary water, sweets and handwritten welcome note made us feel genuinely special! The staff were professional, polite and incredibly helpful, providing a truly high standard of service 👏 Breakfast was a delicious buffet with plenty of variety. We also stopped for a lunch in hotel restaurant and it was just as impressive - both in taste and service. We felt exceptionally well taken care of, and without a doubt, we will be staying in Aurel again on our next visit. Huge thank you to all the employees from all departments!

The hotel is away from the center in a new developing commercial area. There was nothing in the area for tourists. It was very inconvenient that there was no salon to meet with friends and group members. The reception is on the second floor. A great benefit was the free exercise and jacuzzi area with towels provided. Generally it was a clean hotel. Our room was clean, large, the bed was comfortable, but there was only a small window, something I didn't like. The bathroom was large and spacious with plenty of space for personal items. The hotel provided a shower cap, hand soap, shower gel and body lotion. Dinner was a decent buffet and everything I tried was very tasty. The sweets were very nice.

My room was huge! Elegant design, well-cooled with a quiet air conditioning, clean and this space! Breakfast was typical Balkan products, fresh, simply and tasty. Highly recommend!

The good:|The room was relatively large and the bed was comfortable. Staff were generally friendly.||The bad:|The parking area is shared with other businesses and is overcrowded and difficult to park in. Is is supposed to be manned 24 hours but when I went to exit early in the morning no one was there and the exit gate wouldn’t activate so I returned to my parking spot and walked to my destination. Later when I went to leave my exit was blocked by another parked car and I had to wait till the owner was found and they moved their car.||Reception is on the second floor of the building. When I arrived the lift wouldn’t work so I had to carry my luggage up 2 flights of stairs to reception then (after checking in) another 2 flights to my room. I told reception the lift wasn’t working but they didn’t seem to believe me. The next morning they finally conceded it wasn’t working and put up a sign next to the lifts. Had to use the stairs for the entire duration of my stay including check out with luggage.||There was a large group staying at the hotel. When I arrived at reception I had to wait 45 minutes while members of this group took up the time of reception staff with questions and complaints. A hotel this size needs more staff to assist at the reception desk as required instead of keeping people waiting.||On arriving at my room after checking in I found the electronic room key did not work. Other staff contacted reception for me and eventually solved the problem. This issue occurred again after going for a walk and returning to my room. ||The air conditioning in my room did not work until after I contacted reception at 9:00 pm. By this stage the room was 28 degrees and it took at least an hour to cool down. The reason it was not working was because the balcony door was slightly open. I didn’t open it so it must have already been open when I checked in. There were no instructions in the room about the operation of the air conditioning and the need to check that the balcony door was closed.||The room was noisy. There was banging and thumping noises all night coming from either the room next door or above.||The breakfast was very ordinary.

Excellent service! Stayed overnight spontaneously due to flight cancellation. Anna and Branka at the reception took very good care of me. If I ever have the opportunity, I will gladly stay again.
