Hotel Aurora Milan

The only good thing about the hotel was the location. Located within 15 min walking distance from the Milan central station and many more.We stayed three nights in room number 101. We went in December Christmas so The room heater doesn’t work much. So feel cold. Room was small , clean , no fridge, no telephone, shower holder is broken. Water heater works fine. Third last night next room was noisy and cigarette smoking smells came to our bathroom. We didn’t complain because we are about to check out next day. No telephone in the room for any emergency. The reception named Keera was friendly and helpful. Room cleaned when we asked. Recommended for short stay. But check the room before checking. Price is reasonable

Such a cool amall hotel in a great location. Very kind, friendly and welcoming staff. They were really helpful. I like the fact they have 24/7 front desk. Coffee and drinks available to get any time. Comfortable beds. In my opinion it’s a bit expensive though.

Visiting Milan was even more wonderful thanks to staying at this great hotel. REALLY TOP!!! Reception: 10/10, location 10/10, room 10/10. Price/quality 11/10. Only one thing needs to change: how can this hotel have only 1 star? It deserves at least 4. Hotel Aurora = HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Everything in this hotel is run down, old, cracked. The rooms smell mildewy, wet, stagnant. Check out my photos. Big mounds of dust under the bed. Rooms are also micro sized. Barely space between the bed and the bathroom door for example. Showers the size of phone booths. Thin, threadbare sheets. Located in a crowded, commercial neighborhood without much charm. Noisy hallways with paper thin walls. Everything is crammed together so if there is a small gaggle chatting animatedly in the hallway the noise carries right down to your room. The elderly woman in the next room was on her phone and I heard every word (the son is a lay about and let me tell you she has had enough). The staff is perfunctory, they do their job but just that. They tried pawning off a lesser room then the one I booked and I had to asked to be moved. A depressing stay.

Simple but clean, also windows has good isolation so there is no noise from the street. Also shoutout to Marco- very friendly, welcoming, gave everything we needed and recommended best dinner place which we ate and we was very happy. 👏🏼

I see a lot of people complaining about AC and they added it. Our room was very clean. It’s a little old but the bathroom is new. You get a good deal for the price. Me and 4 friends stayed here and did not have an issue!

This is a basic hotel which we knew when we booked it. However the shower was mouldy and dirty, the fan didn't work and the safe in the room was broken. The battery part of the safe was broken as the connection to the battery was missing. When letting a room everything should be working. It is a non smoking hotel however it smelt of smoke in the bathroom. The room was very small which wasn't an issue and the location was ideal.

This is a no-frills hotel and we were very happy with our stay. It's an older building and the furnishing is a bit dated and basic. But it is exactly what you see in the pictures. In other words, that's a warning to those of you who might expect something beyond what they are claiming to be. ||We had trouble getting in the first night because we missed the buzzer on the main street. Once we figured that out, getting into the courtyard and into the hotel itself was never a problem. ||We felt very safe in the neighborhood and the hotel. The room was nice sized, the beds were comfortable, the shower worked well. The employees were super friendly and helpful. They offered daily housekeeping if you wanted, but we only requested it every other day. There isn't much of a lobby and the only amenities were some cold drinks for sale at the front desk. We found several cafes close by that were all very good. The location is great. It's walkable to the train station and public transportation is close by. There is a lot of shopping along the street. ||The value is what brought us here. We don't need fancy, and we used the money we saved to enjoy a few more nice dinners in Milan than we normally would. We will definitely consider staying at the Hotel Aurora the next time we are in Milan.
