A great hotel set on piazza delle erbe. Polite friendly staff and they serve a great breakfast. We had an economy room which was ok for a three night stay, just not very spacious but as expected for the money. You can have breakfast on the balcony overlooking the piazza or in their dining room. When they knew we were going to the opera they lent us cushions which was so kind. Lots to do nearby and lots of restaurants. To get from the airport we took the bus to the railway station and then got a taxi, radiocars, who offer a really good service. On the way back we just used the radiocar which was 35 euros as a Sunday evening. Verona is a city that is easy to walk round and opera in the ampitheatre was just amazing.

The hotel is in a great location for exploring Verona. Stairs to the reception but the friendly receptionist helped us with our bags. The breakfast was generous but no fresh eggs offered. You can take your breakfast on the terrace. Very helpful team.|Couple of things that weren’t so good. No sockets in the bedroom to recharge phones. One in the bathroom which we used. Bathroom was small but well equipped. Not enough hanging space for the generous number of towels!

Traditional hotel, right in the main tourist area of Verona, literally right on piazza della Erbe. Our room was directly facing Torre dei Lambert, one of the main tourist attractions!||Comfortable and clean room, and the service was the best we’ve encountered at a hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful.||Only slight negative was the single plug socket in the room that made charging our devices more tricky than usual.||Other than that, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay with my friend at Hotel Aurora in Verona. The location is absolutely perfect — just a short walk to all the main attractions, including Juliet’s balcony and the Arena.||||The staff were truly amazing, especially Caterina, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She was incredibly helpful and informative, providing great tips about the city and always with a warm smile.||||The breakfast was fresh and satisfying, a lovely way to start each day. The hotel itself is clean, charming, and has a welcoming atmosphere.||||Highly recommend Hotel Aurora for anyone visiting Verona — I would definitely stay here again!

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Aurora during our trip to Verona, and it was a delightful experience. The room, although on the smaller side, was very comfortable and had a lovely bathroom. The cleanliness was exceptional—everything was spotless, which made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the incredible view from our room, which overlooked the Piazza delle Erbe —a beautiful sight to wake up to in the morning. The breakfast offered a great variety of options, from fresh juice and coffee to delicious fruits, bread, sweets, and eggs—everything you could possibly need to start the day right. I also want to give special praise to the friendly staff working at the hotel. They were always welcoming and made us feel right at home, adding a personal touch to our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Hotel Aurora and would highly recommend it for anyone visiting Verona!

A family-owned hotel with best location in Verona. Clean room and great service. They have a terrace facing piazza Erbe and I enjoyed having breakfast there.

There is nothing wrong with this hotel the staff were very friendly but I would not call it nice. For Americans it’s very similar to a Best Western. Great location, while they offer free breakfast I wouldn’t waste your time. I would try Caffe Borsari.

We took a taxi from the railway station for Euro 11. The location of the hotel is fantastic - in the centre of Verona! You go to bed with the Piazza delle Erbe and the Torre dei Lamberti - and you wake up with them! The room was actually a 3-bed room; - we got it for the two of us as twin bed room. There was a 'Giulietta e Romeo' sweet placed on the beds upon arrival - a nice gesture. The room was very clean and was cleaned every day. There was a heater through the air conditioner which could be regulated - so we did not feel cold. No fridge and water heater for tea in the room, but there was a safe. The bathroom was a challenge for us two who cannot walk well. It took a real balance act to climb into and out of the bathtub for taking shower (we had described this challenge in an email 2 weeks prior to arrival, but this was not taken care of in the allocation of the room); we should have raised it straight away, but we only faced this challenge in the evening when we had already settled in the room. The room and bathroom were quiet. The staff at the reception, esp Ms Katarina, were extremely nice and helpful with advice. Breakfast was fantastic with a huge variety of items - cakes, cornetti, fruits, muesli, nuts, cheese, cold cuts, eggs, tomatoes; and we received two cappuccini per person every morning! We knew about the stairs leading up to the reception, still they were a challenge for us, but we managed. Further up there is a convenient lift. Unfortunately the weather was not that great - so we did not sit on the beautiful terrace. Upon departure the hotel called a taxi which came immediately to the hotel. Overall a beautiful and convenient stay!
