Hotel Austria

I've been here a couple of times. Even recommended this place multiple times. But I can't do that anymore. Prices has gone up, it's too expensive for the rooms. I had a very bad room, smelly, not clean, no clean towels on the floor, dirty (!), old towels as well. Very poor and old, not comfortable single beds. Really horrible. No wifi! No signal inside, I had to work in ly PJ's, after midnight in the hallway! But then again, no wifi! The only wifi was, when there was a signal, on top of the fridge. Next week I'm back in CDE, but I won't stay here anymore. For this price you can find rooms more comfortable. Breakfast is still good as always. But staff was really rude and not friendly at all. They also simply don't care.

I don't know about previous stays but this certainly has changed. We were very nicely welcomed. The staff at the desk the owner were really nice friendly and helpful. The place is really great near to the centre and close to the Brazilian border. This is great if|You want to visit the Iguazu falls both in Brasil or Argentina. ||There are lower priced rooms on a small courtyard near to the car park. They are nice and clean and private bathroom. Not fuss but they really do the job||The breakfast is a real treat we loved it. Plenty of choice and very good food |The wifi is excellent and speedy ||The normal rooms are great too. ||Definitely a recommend place to stay in Ciudad del Este. |We did not have dinner here but it looks really nice too.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, safe. Competitive prices. We paid about $35 US for a matrimonial room, two people. Great associated restaurant. Breakfast buffet really good. Went back to the restaurant for dinner on our return trip. Excellent focus on service. A/C, clean bathroom, hot shower water, comfortable bed. Small fridge.

Super cute feel of the hotel. Lots of character! View from outside of the rooms are lovely. Basic rooms but clean and comfortable. Hotel breakfast was really fantastic! Tons of fresh fruit and juices. Highly recommend. The restaurant for dinner is also incredible. Sopas and ajo pollo was excellent. Over all great time. Walkable to a lot of places. Super close to the border if you need to cross.

This hotel is good except the room I was in. The room was dirty, there were spiderwebs in the shower and hair on the floor that didnt belong to us. I stayed in this Hotel with my family and the service was nice and the Hotel is aestheticly pleasing. The only problem was the room.

The hotels restaurant, outside are and balcony were very cozy to have breakfast, dinner or a beer in the evening. The breakfast was nice and staff was friendly. The room we stayed at was quite small with a small window looking out on the stairs, but clean and good for a night or two. The location was a plus, close to the brazilian border and not far from a more busy area where one could go shopping and grab some food

Hotel Austria in Ciudad del Este is a nice hotel, conveniently located near the Brazilian border. It’s a comfortable and decent place by South American standards, but the rooms could use some updates — especially the cabinets. The hotel’s restaurant is a plus, offering breakfast, dinner, and good pizzas.

Very friendly and calm place to stay. It is clean and the Restaurant serves good dishes.
