Horrible hotel! They didn't move my only shoes from the room to the room, they told me to wait for them tomorrow and I came to the hotel in different shoes!! These were different shoes - wet and broken cycling shoes! Then the concierge hung up and the shoes were found in a few minutes! I was washing clothes, the machine broke! No one could help! All the clothes were wet, my train was in 8 hours! We agreed that the hotel staff would solve the problem, but after 8 hours all the clothes were wet!!! None of the new shift workers at the hotel know about this situation! Do not check in here if you value your peace of mind and time! The hotel is old and the soundproofing is poor.

This should not be classed as 4* it is more a 2* i have been on many city breaks around the world and this is probably the worst Hotel I’ve stayed in to date. |The breakfast was terrible the scrambled egg tasted of absolutely nothing. The boiled Eggs were boiled until the yellow was black. Each morning we asked for bread for the toaster and were told there isn’t any ?today we were given it reluctantly but when other people asked they were told no there wasn’t any. Although each morning staff were eating breakfast when we arrived ? When we had paid for ours and then told there wasn’t any bread for toast. Very unprofessional. |On a positive note. a good thing about the hotel is it’s in a great location a couple of minutes walk from the train station and near to everything. And although the rooms are very outdated and smell a bit old and musky the landings are the nicest part of the building. It can be noisy at night but if you close the window it’s fine. |I have 1 positive thing to say and that’s the cleaning staff did put some banners and balloons out for my friends birthday but there cleaning skills leave a lot to be desired. Also when I arrived I asked Micheal who checked us in could I pay the city tax and was told there wasn’t any to pay but on leaving was asked to pay? |Would I stay here again No would I recommend definitely not!

Great location - close to the lake, Lidl, and train station. Very polite staff too! Accommodating too - I had to checkout slightly later and they had no issues with that. Finally, they even allowed a very early check-in - thank you.Loved the room too!

Located near train station however the room was 87 degrees all night as we were on the 8th floor. They did bring us a fan but after just landing and having zero sleep the night prior it was very disappointing to not be able to sleep at all here. The bathrooms are also incredibly small. Would not recommend.

The location is good, near train station and supermarkets. The view from 8 floor is very nice. However, facilities can be improved: TV is out of order. The lighting is too soft. The shower’s water power is weak.

Despite being a short stay, the hotel is conveniently located next to the station and close to the city centre. The front desk receptionist, Bernardo, gave us a warm welcome so it was a great first impression!

Good hotel with a short walk to the Lake and on a very useful tramline. Super stay with friendly, helpful, staff from reception to the lovely breakfast ladies - nothing was too much trouble. Hotel was very clean and tidy. We hope to return one day.

This hotel has one of the best breakfast I had in Europe. At the same time, it is difficult to sleep, since some of the rooms, like mine, has the train passing during the night.

Yelp
Very nice. After 1 week on the road, it was nice to check in to a highly rated, high class hotel. I was not disappointed. Although, on this day, they were sponsoring the Syrian peace talks. Security was out of this world. We were stopped outside of the entrance of the hotel and announced to the security people and front desk. They then invited us in to check in. Exciting! Anyway, as long as it's not peak season, make sure you call upon arrival to get a good rate or shop it on trivago. You will like this hotel very much. Staff is very professional. Hotel is very clean. What more could you want. I recommend. P.S. Oh, nice= expensive. 30ch for bfast. A little more than I wanted to spend but I gotta eat.

Yelp
IDO NOT GO HERE, if you want a good quiet, comfortable room with excellent service. Very noisy rooms, unable to control temperature with thermostat. Rooms are very hot. Can't open a window because too much street noise and traffic. Breakfast service is nonexistent. 45 minutes without and croissant or bread service from 900-945. Breakfast ends at 10. I have been here before and this was absolutely horrible. Use to be one of my favorites in Geneva.

Yelp
Conventiently located a few steps from the train station. Clean and sober decor. The rooms, furniture and linens are a bit old and the hotel could greatly improve the quality of its room service food. First lunch: my soup was randomly served with a piece of cheese and while I appreciate the attention, the next soup I ordered wasn't. Consistency is important. First dinner: very disappointing piece of fish served with a strange assortment of steamed:butter vegetables in a bowl. Almost seemed like the soup vegetables before they were mixed.. Second lunch: omelet was way to dry and salty. Other service issues occurred like forgetting butter, bringing coke instead of diet coke etc. I would also strongly recommend that for a hotel of apparently this standard, room service not to be served on high school cafeteria platters and with real napkins not paper ones. We're not in school, not in a plane, and some moisture left on the platter wet the bed duvet the dinner was dropped on. Other recommendations include providing slippers to guests and making sure room service remains are removed from the corridors during the night.. Overall however the service and staff is friendly. I like the less stuffy attitude and decor compared to the Royal Manotel but small changes could greatly improved the quality of the experience.

Yelp
This hotel is just perfect for the International traveler. The rooms are good sized and clean! Most Everything is within walking distance and the Train Station is just a couple hundred yards away. (Ask for a room in the front to avoid train noise). Upon our check in, we received extensive help in getting around the city, free bus or tram passes. You can even exchange money at a reasonable rate right at the front desk. Penelope took plenty of time to make sure we had everything we needed. We found everyone here eager to make sure our stay was pleasurable. Hot pot in the room with plenty of tea and coffee was a nice touch. The breakfast is a bit pricy @ 28 so we avoided that. Looked really good, but was more in the 15-18 range pp I would recommend this place to anyone, and hope to come back some time.

Yelp
So after the fiasco of my last hotel, I set out to look for another one that I could relocate to without too much hassle. A quick search on the internet yielded this little gem. The Auteuil is a modernly appointed hotel located in a fairly new building a short walk from the train station. The rooms are fairly big, they come with a decent sized TV, a good selection of channels, a mini-bar and a good sized desk amongst other. The bathroom is also a nice size. Auteuil's beds are a big plus - most hotels in Geneva try to sell you two mini beds put together as a queen sized bed - not here, they actually have a queen sized mattress. The two minor back draws to the hotel is that rear faces the train tracks and the breakfast buffet is a bit lacking. Other than those minor issues it's a great place to stay.

Yelp
The Hotel Auteuil is conveniently located centrally in Geneva, about 300 yards from Geneva station and around 700 yards from the lake. The rooms are smart and modern with a very nice bathroom. Although breakfast is available in the hotel, there is no restaurant. Fortunately there are lots of places a short walk from the hotel so this isn't a problem. The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. At around £100 per night for the room, I think it represents good value for a central location in Geneva.

Yelp
Centrally located, modern and reasonable hotel. I won't make a judgment on the price levels as visiting Geneva usually is a price-comparison exercise for me that doesn't always make sense. Hence how I ended up here in the first place... It's very close to the train station (if you get a room at the back, you will sadly hear the passing trains) and only a 10-15min walk into town. The tram also stops outside if you don't want to walk. The rooms are very modern and clean and there is free WiFi throughout. For £100 - £150 / night I'll probably book this again as it's good value [for Geneva], but I don't think I'd want to pay much more than that. Breakfast is a bit of scam at 28 CHF but there is a nice little bakery just up the road.

Yelp
Geneva is ridicuolously expensive.... However, this fantastic hotel is a wonderful "reasonably" priced hotel. The decor is stylish and modern, and it was very clean. The staff was all very helpful and welcoming. The hotel is a short walk to Old Geneve, and therefore is ideally situated. Great find!

Yelp
Stayed here while I was in Geneva for work. About as perfect as can be -- great location, nicely appointed contemporary rooms and bathrooms, all areas very clean, comfortable beds, very friendly and efficient staff. The free wifi worked great but requires manual login at the start of each session. The hotel was pricey but so is everything else in Geneva.
