When we arrived we were greeted so warmly & offered an upgrade of an extra room, interconnecting for our children. This was so appreciated. The coffee machine near reception was a nice touch also. The staff were so helpful in assisting us to plan our day trips. The house keeping staff were amazing too. Our room was always stocked with our favourite coffee pods and teas, and we loved coming back of an evening to freshly made beds and towels. The hotel is in a perfect location to shops, restaurants and transport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning again some day. The staff are amazing.

We arrived at the hotel to a very warm and friendly welcome. We had booked a family room for 4 and were given a complimentary upgrade to adjoining rooms, which we were all very thankful for. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We checked in early evening and ask where was good to eat. We were recommended a local restaurant, A Gina, which we headed out to and really enjoyed our meal there. Breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, lots of choice. On an evening we visited the bar within the hotel restaurant. The staff were again very friendly the drinks were very reasonably priced for a city hotel. The hotel is perfectly located in the city and taxi trips are also very cheap if you want to venture further afield. I can be one to find fault in things, but this hotel was perfect for us and the amazing staff, who would go out of their way to talk to you and help with local knowledge, made it a great stay. Would definitely return.

Really nice hotel in a great location. Room was comfy and clean how've the sink and bath didn't drain very well and we're filling up quite quickly. Breakfast buffet was OK, not a lot to choose from but it was plenty. Location was fantastic, only a short 7-10 min walk to the centre and all public transport stops Overall a really nice hotel and we had a very pleasant stay

We stayed overnight so we could dine in Yakuza (which is attached to the hotel) for my husband's birthday. Clean, well appointed, nice staff. We opted for room with a balcony. The location is great. Right off of main boulevard of Liberdade. So easy walk to high-end shopping, other good eateries but no traffic noise. And very reasonably priced.

We stayed in the hotel in before just before Christmas and the we really enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and staff was friendly and willing to assist in any way. Location is excellent you can easily walk to the center, train station, and restaurants.

The Avani is cost-effective, comfortable, centrally located, and offers exceptional service. It is within walking distance of lots of good restaurants and attractions. Staff turnover appears rare so management must treat the staff well, which sets the tone. The staff remembers guests year after year. They greet guests by name and with a smile. All staff, from the women and men at the front desk to the housekeeping staff, make everyone feel welcome and they work hard to see that all their guests’ needs get met.

We stayed for a week to visit lisboa as a family renting 2 rooms. The hotel is perfectly located in the center (metro avenida) in a quiet side road. It has a boutique hotel size and is very comfortable and not too big. The staff was very friendly and made us welcome through our stay. I would definitely recommend it |

A Short but good stay.|The staff were helpful, the facilities and bedroom was clean and the location is my favourite in the city. |Easy access to taxis and only 20 minutes from the airport.|The Japanese restaurant Yakizw attached to the hotel is also one of my favourites in the city.
