Hotel Avani Rio Novo Venice

This was the best hotel I stayed at during my time in Italy. The location is perfect—within walking distance of several cafes and restaurants. The hotel is incredibly clean, with no pink residue or mold in sight. The room had a pleasant scent, and the bed was very comfortable. Plus, it has AC! It’s a wellness-focused hotel, so it really emphasizes relaxation which is a nice touch. The customer service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. A tip: If you're planning to have breakfast at the hotel, it's cheaper to book it in advance, as the price is higher at check-in. I'm sad I didn’t book more days in Venice, but overall, it was an amazing stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Best 4 star hotel ive stayed at. Hotel is modern and clean. Rooms are lovely and beds are so comfortable. Room has tea and coffee facilities. Only negative...the walls and windows seem thin and we could hear a fair bit of noise from outside and people above etc. Staff were so welcoming. Breakfast was lovely and good variety of food. Hotel is in a great location, not far from the bus station. Cant wait to visit venice again and would 100% stay here again.

Solid 4 star hotel and an excellent value. Location is unbeatable with easy walking distance to the train station and every other attraction. I would not have wanted to walk with my luggage much further. We loved the quiet residential location. The property feels fresh and new. We had a 5th floor city view room which I highly recommend as the view is quite nice. The room is a bit tight but modern & clean which makes up for it. The gym is very basic. Didn’t have breakfast because that felt like a ripoff at 26 Euro. Staff at the hotel were friendly. Paid less than $600 USD for 3 nights which feels like an incredible deal. If you are not going to splurge on a luxury hotel this is a great option.

A recent stay was excellent. The room was spacious, clean and well kept. Comfortable bed with clean crisp sheets. The bathroom was fully stocked with everything I needed. The room had a nice view of the city, yet was quiet and I had an excellent sleep. The room also had a mini fridge and coffee maker making my stay most comfortable.

We stayed here for 2 nights. This hotel was conveniently located. We reached the hotel at around 10am. Even though checkin was at 3pm, they had a room ready for us when we reached there. Lucrezia at the hotel front desk was very friendly and went out of her way to help us. She suggested some local food and drinks for us to try and where to get them. The hotel breakfast was very good. It was altogether a very delightful stay.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at! My family had a junior suite and then the gave us an upgrade because our family is a little big, they made it so nice. This is AMAZING!

The first day we arrived the staff was very nice. Rooms and hotel are very nice and clean as well. The location is a bit out of the way from the main attractions but we didn’t mind. However the girl with the glasses at the front desk is very rude. I asked her about the laundry service and asked if it was complimentary and she gave a sarcastic chuckle and said no there is a fee. I said then where are the prices and she then rudely told me they are listed on a form in the closet of our room. I had never did laundry service before so I was unaware. My mother also asked her the same question on a separate occasion and she also told me that she was rude to her as well. I also caught her and another front desk girl talking about and mocking the English speaking guests as I was sitting in the lobby.

Stayed here for two nights and after touring Italy for a couple of weeks, we realized that this was the best hotel of our trip. The check in experience was pleasant. The hotel is modern and has nice amenities. The grounds are kept well. The staff is mostly nice but could be friendlier. The males seem to be more cold than the female staff. ||I really liked the proximity to the Piazzale Roma. It was a short walk and with our luggage it wasn't too bad. My kids found it easy to get to. We would take the water bus from here all hours of the day. ||The buffet was the best we had during our trip. The food quality was superb and they had different stations (bread, fresh juice, coffee, etc.). ||The connecting rooms were comfortable. The kids really enjoyed having their own space with a modern touch. In the middle of the night there were people talking loudly outside the hotel but it wasn't anything that really bothered me too much. I guess I was too tired from the flight to care.||In any case, we loved the stay here and can't wait to go back. It was a really enjoyable experience.
