Yelp
Really happy with this hotel, will definitely consider staying here again on our future visits.
This hotel is family-run. When we checked in we saw an old gentleman hanging around in the lobby. The next morning at breakfast, we were trying to figure out which little packages are butter and which are margarine, when a woman at a nearby table asked if we need help. Turns out she works in the hotel, and the old man is her grandfather!
What we like about the hotel:
- convenient location. It's practically just side street away from the canal. There is an excellent seafood restaurant just around the corner.
- friendly service
- brightly light rooms with lots of outlets and even USB ports. There is an outlet by each bedside, so I can sit in my bed when charging and using my phone. Trust me, not every hotel is so considerate. There is also a mini fridge and kettle.
- delicious breakfast. Homemade bread and pastries (okay, I admit, that's a given at anywhere in Portugal), fresh juice, and a kiss ass Nespresso machine!! They even have soy milk and soy yogurt.
Parking: there is a very small lot in the alley, you can also park along the alley as long as you don't block the way, if you prefer street parking it's plentiful too.
