Hotel Aveiro Palace

Rooms were okay - I had asked for two beds and they were too beds with one headboard firmly attached to each other. 🤣 However, service was amazing. They gave us late checkout and came running to bring my my fur vest which I forgot in the room. Also the location is unbeatable - right in front of the gondola rides. In a gorgeous walkable part of town. Loved everything there.

ALL I CAN SAY IS YOU MUST BOOK THIS HOTEL IN AVEIRO WHILE IN PORTUGAL!!!|This is simply the MOST BEAUTIFUL HOTEL we have ever stayed in. GORGEOUS amenities/ room/ breakfast and gracious personnel. I really can not say enough about the people who work there/MARCO/CELSO and MONICA. |There are just not enough words to express our gratitude and love for making us feel so welcome. AVEIRO is a must see town in Portugal with all the glamour of Europe. |A funny yet scary thing happened and MARCO and MONICA were there to help and calm me after my Husband got lost departing the dual exit parking area. He did not have the international phone so they called the rental company for tracking. Not available but had license nos. and they were getting ready to call the police but all ended well. |I could keep going but all I can truthfully say is STAY HERE FOR A MAGNIFICIENT EXPERIENCE .. |BTW this charming town is not in Rick Steves book so just venture out to see this gorgeous town on your own.

Great location. Nice old hotel that has been well maintained and kept modern. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Parking is separate but nearby and there’s a drop off / pick up space right outside the front of the hotel.

The staff were exceptional through out our stay! Very helpful. Attentive and respectful. We felt that we are their life long members although it was our first time. The location is excellent.

We came to visit this hotel as we are tourists from Canada wanting to find a hotel in Aveiro for next week. The hotel receptionist Marco was so rude and mean he didn’t even let us take a look at the inside he threw us out of the hotel telling us we are not allowed to check out the hotel and he became very aggressive. Me and my wife told him he shouldn’t speak like this to guests or potential guests as we could be wanting to rent a room in this hotel. But now because of the way he spoke and became all aggressive we will never put foot in this hotel as it clearly shows how the service must be. His name was Marco and he should not work in a hotel.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The gentlemen at the desk were friendly and helpful. This hotel has AC but it's not on in the winter. We were there on a warm and sunny day in February and so our original room was too warm for good sleep. They were able to move us to a cooler room and we could open the windows. I particularly liked all the "living room" areas of the hotel where you could just cozy up with a book or your laptop and enjoy the views. It's centrally located for exploring. Parking is available in an underground garage a short way down across the road, under the mall. Don't park in the garage until you've checked in.

The hotel is in a very beautiful part of the city center, just in front of the canals. The service is great, you have a near parking for just 10$ per night and the breakfast is good. The room we stayed in was very old, they have cheap furniture and the view of the window was facing a wall.

Friendly service, we had an issue with our room, our fault, they resolved it quickly and with a smile.
