Hotel Avon Ruby-Dadar Hotels

We had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The taste and quality of the food were excellent, and the service was truly commendable. The staff was extremely courteous, attentive, and supportive throughout our stay, which made us feel very comfortable and well taken care of. A special mention to the staff for packing food for our train journey. It was packed very neatly and hygienically, and to our pleasant surprise, the food was still hot even after 3 hours.

I didn't have a great experience in this hotel. A few points to mention below: 1. Service is really poor. If you call room service for something, they take a long time to deliver what you ask for. The girl on the desk always keeps talking on the phone, which is not a great thing to do for a desk employee who receives guests at the first place. 2. I paid 6k for one room and 7k for the other, but the quality of the hotel and the rooms doesn't match the price. 3. I did the booking one month in advance. I booked one room in super deluxe category and another room in executive (the basic) category. After taking the advance amount, I was told that the room in the super deluxe category was not available on my dates. This was the first red flag, which I shouldn't have ignored. I had to switch to the deluxe category for that room. However, I specifically told them earlier that I needed two rooms close to each other and I was told that super deluxe and executive rooms are on the same floor. However, when my booking was changed, I should've been told that deluxe rooms and executive rooms are not on the same floor, or they are not available on the same floor for my dates. In that case, I would have cancelled my booking and tried for another hotel. But this was brought to our notice after we reached there and paid the amount in full. We had a great time in Pune and Lonavala and this just spoiled our trip. However, they did change our room for the next night, but it was a major inconvenience for one night having to stay on different floors, something which could be avoided. 4. The restaurant is like ok ok. Breakfast buffet had very limited choices and all of the items didn't taste good. Even their menu had very limited choices, especially for North-Indians. The hotel is wheelchair accessible though. They also have a ramp inside the hotel, for which I give them 2 stars, otherwise I would've given just 1 star.

I was initially skeptical as the overall rating was < 4. So was amazed at staff, super clean hallways and rooms, comfy beds and larger than average room size for city center hotel. Location is gorgeous and connectivity especially travelling by bus is phenomenal. Access to all must eat places too.

Staff very co-operative. Behavior of service staff and help desk very good. Rooms are clean, but fine white dust comes continuously from window. Otherwise rest all fine.

One of the worst experience with room hygiene. I found bedbugs in multiple rooms and I had to exchange the room multiple times during my stay. I have bite marks and rashes all over my body.

Placing a 5-star only because of Aqsa and the fried rice they make there. Both are too good to be true! Rest of the staff are fine. Location wise, it justifies the price. Coming back again next year.

Not managed properly. Many switches are in not working conditions since last more than two years. Food quality is just OK.

Hotel Avon Ruby very nice hotel and nice location in Mumbai city. I'm stay of 2 night check-in 18 October check-out 20 october in hotel with my family. All staf service very good.
