Hotel Avra Rafina

Excellent hotel. Clean, friendly, comfortable beds. Breakfast was included and was very good (Buffett with many options from eggs and such to pastries, etc - all excellent). Location right on the port so easily walkable to restaurants and ferries. Airport transport was seamless despite a delayed flight!

How nice that our travel agent Mamakita reserved this hotel for us for our first night in Athens before heading north. It was so pleasant to stay in a quiet area near the sea instead of noisy Athens. We enjoyed some relaxing time at the beach and a short walk around the harbor. Good restaurant too.

Would have rated 5 stars if the rooms were not so compact, how ever do not let this put you off staying here. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The location next to the ferry port with seafront views and excellent sunrises. We had a seaview balcony room , worth the extra. |The staff from the shuttle drivers, reception ,cleaners through to restaurant wait staff were outstanding as was the Restaurant food. The breakfast buffet was good, with good selection and we ate here for dinner during our 3 night stay as the seafront views along with the excellent food was very good. We did a day trip into Athens using airport shuttle and train from the airport. There is also a beach within 200 metresof hotel. Parakalo Hotel Avra|We would happily come back again 😄

The hotel is perfectly located near the port and offers convenient airport transfers. The rooms are spacious, spotless, great sea view, beautifully designed, and the on-site restaurant is a great bonus. We were so pleased, we booked it both on our arrival and again the night before heading home.

We stayed here one night, post-cruise in order to make an morning flight back to the states. We chose this hotel primarily due to it's free hourly shuttle to the airport. ||We found overall the hotel to be clean, well-maintained and clean. The rooms, although euro-sized were functional and bright. Three sides of the hotel provide you with a water view with the least expensive rooms facing the front street side. ||The desk staff was pleasant and helpful.||Our only complaint was the softness of the beds which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep.

Great location and the shuttle is a really great perk. There was a random blackout in the middle of the night, which triggered a strobe light effect in our room from an emergency light. After the power came back on the light remained, so sleeping was really tough. They only give you one key and when I had to ask for a second the lady was visibly and audibly frustrated with me. Breakfast buffet was nice and plentiful.

Avra Hotel is perfect for anyone taking a ferry to or from Rafina. The free airport shuttle plus the incredible breakfast included, make this place perfect! The rooms are spacious, beds are comfy, views are incredible and the the Town of Rafina is right at your doorstep.

Clean hotel and helpful staff! The breakfast was delicious with lots of options, the airport shuttle is convenient. The hotel has beautiful views and is very convenient to town, lots of food options within 5 minutes walk. Only downside is the very very small rooms
