Hotel Avra Rafina

This hotel is only 25 to 30min from Athens Airport, they supply a free shuttle sevice to and from airport with a booking requested at least 24 hours beforehand. Service, Room and breakfast was fantastic. Hotel is on the waterfront, worth getting a seaview room, looking out over water watching ferries going out to the islands from your balcony. Rafina is a lovely town square with lots of restaurants and bars. We wished we stayed longer.

Although it’s a bit far from the airport, the location is perfect if you have an early ferry from the port the next morning. The shuttle bus runs exactly on time, so make sure to be there about 10 minutes early. The room was small but very clean, and since I was tired from a long flight the previous day, I didn’t mind the noise at all. All the staff were friendly, and the restaurant on the first floor offers a discount — the food was really delicious! Breakfast had all the basics, so I’d definitely recommend it.

Perfect location for ferry access by foot. Comfortable rooms and beds. Staff was fine and transport the main reason for the choice of this hotel. If you need to get sleep due to an early flight, be aware that the noise is a major issue. You will not sleep due to the noise from other occupants. Corridor noise is constant. In addition, noise level from people in their own rooms at a conversational level is untenable. There are much better options in Spata that offer superior rooms at better prices with transfers and the ability to get actual sleep.

Perfect place for a one-night stay before flying out of Athens back home to the USA. Three adults shared a triple room, and while the room was small, the beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. The free shuttle to the Athens airport makes this an especially good value. We had a nice dinner that night in the hotel restaurant, and the morning's breakfast was generous with lots of choices.

Excellent location for catching a ferry or early morning flight. They are very strict about the 2pm check-in. Maria was fantastic handling the flow of guests with grace & professionalism. Try not to get adjoining room- you can hear everything. Their breakfast buffet was the best we had on our trip.

We like to stay at this hotel before or after taking the ferry. It is extremely convenient and service is good. We found the rooms comfortable but a little small. The soundproofing could be better as loud conversations/crying babies and slamming doors could be heard clearly rather than being a little muffled. All in all, an excellent choice if you have an early morning ferry or need a place to stay within 30 min of the airport.

Good hotel. Service and good were good. Only a couple small issues, the room needs the key card to power the room, so the AC wouldn't run while we were away and the AC didnt seem to keep the room cool all night long. Other than that, it was a good spot to stay for a couple of nights while adventuring into athens.

AVRA Hotel is a great hotel!! The front desk & all the staff were friendly & helpful.The room was very clean! The rain shower was wonderful after a long flight.Easy to walk to town Square or agio Nicholas chapel.The Breakfast selections were Wonderful & Everything was delicious & fresh! Would highly recommend saying there.
