Stayed just one night and it was OK. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking available nearby. Walking distance to downtown. Our room was extremely small, almost no space on one side of the bed. Toilet on one side and shower on the other side. The shower was extremely small too. Quiet room out the back side above the small patio. We would probably try to get something bigger next time.

The Hotel Azur is quite simply furnished, but our room was clean, and our bed very comfortable. In addition, the staff were all friendly and helpful, and the breakfast very good. Better still, the hotel is only about 10-15 minutes walk from Reims cathedral, so that it's nice and central. In addition, there is private parking just a couple of minutes' walk away (for a modest extra fee). Just one little thing: there are no lifts in this hotel, but that was no problem for us. Otherwise, however, this hotel gave us everything we needed for a short stay in Reims, and can happily recommend it.

I was a little concerned when i read the reviews about the tiny rooms, but this wasnt our experience. We took a superior room and were given room 1, right off the lobby. It was spacious and had air conditioning, thank goodness because it the middle of August the room got quite warm! But the airco worked very well and kept us cool --and wasn't noisy at all. The bathroom was smallish but had clearly been renovated and was in good condition. The decor of the room.was charming and had a much more personal, comfortable feeling than e.g., a chain or business hotel. The location is tje star, though! You are right in Boulingrin but on a small quiet street. I will stay here again on my next visit.

Lovely boutique hotel in fantastic location. Our first stay here and we will be back. The communication from hotel was friendly and informative. We arrived at 9:30pm and left before 8:30am so didn’t meet the staff but check in was simple and the use of the carpark easy to find. Our room although small was decorated in a quirky way and was comfortable. There was a lovely feel to this little hotel and in a great location with fantastic bars and restaurants on the doorstep. I did miss that there was no tea tray as I was leaving prior to breakfast but that is my only fault with this lovely hotel. We will be back

I had a 2 persons room for myself, it was tiny and very hot, room 21 is on the second floor next to the stairs, so a lot of noise, also from other rooms.|When I booked, I asked if there was a safe place to leave my motorbike. No answer from hotel and no parkingplace, so the bike stayed on the street. For me a garage is essential, else I would have booked elsewhere.|Not to mention, only warm water came out the tap and that the bed had a very warm duvet, at 27 celcius, that is not pleasant.|The breakfast was good.

Room 15 is very small, and the blacked out corridor had me taking the knee to put the key in the door. The bathroom is minuscule, too, but a separate toilet partially compensated. We left the windows ajar overnight to keep the room cool and there was no noise until the breakfast began in the courtyard.. Breakfast is patchy with black coffee or tea on offer only. |Parking in their garages 5 minutes around the block is slightly problematic as each garage is very narrow for a modern saloon car. You need to leave space for the driver to be able to get out of your car and tuck in your mirrors. Logistically, best advice is to drop off the luggage you need at reception first, collect the garage entry key, and then park up. And, upon leaving, take your luggage on foot to the garages and drop off the parking entry key at reception. It is a one-way street, be aware.

Fortunately Reims is pretty small as this hotel wasn’t close to anything so fortunately not far either. |I got a email asking what time I’d arrive as the front desk staff leave at 1900. No problem there is a code for after hours, but what if I have a problem? I wasn’t given any way to contact staff if there was a problem. Also no front desk staff at 8:30 am so had to check out the day before |Breakfast doesn’t start til 8:30. I’m up and out by then so I ate at a bakery down the street but the day I had to leave I was out of luck. |My room11 was the size of a post card. Bed was hard and pillow flat. The halls were loud and my room looked over the street which was loud at times. |At least it was clean! |I would choose a different place if I come back to Reims.

The location of this hotel is good. Close to the town hall and restaurants. |However, some rooms are so small that they shouldn't be offered. (3m X 2m with a bathroom of 1m by 1m). |The check in was cold and not friendly. The breakfast is not top. Only sweet condiments and the tea was cold. |The hall and rooms are noisy, You hear all the steps and the broyeurtoilets make a lot of noise.

Yelp
Awesome hotel! Staff speaks English. Clean! Good breakfast here but need to be quiet by not flush toilet between 10:30pm to 7:30am. Due to 'watermatic' toilet. BUT, worth to sleep here!!

Yelp
In searching for a room in Reims, this came up as one of the highest rated hotels, very close to the top hotel which goes for 2x the price per night. Do not be fooled. This is NOTHING like the top rated hotel. Short version: If your comfortable with a hostel-type experience, this'll do for a night. This is not a value hotel. It is a cheap hotel. Don't confuse the two. Our room was dark (brown walls, brown carpet). The walls are thin. You can hear your neighbors (and they can hear you), the people in the hall, each clomp on the steps, every door closing, every toilet flushing (more on that later). They warn you that there is no elevator but not that the stairs are narrow. Don't bring big heavy luggage! We arrived in the evening, and checked in. The staff spoke enough English for that. They gave us a voucher for each night for free glasses of champagne at local restaurants. As soon as we got in the room, my GF wanted to leave. She was uncomfortable with the darkness of the room. She was ready not only to not stay in the room but to get on a train and head back to Paris. I convinced her to stay a night. This area of town does not have a lot of food choices within walking distance. We went to the restaurant on the first night voucher to find they are not open that night. WTF? We found another place for dinner returned to the hotel around 10. We then found the toilet would not flush. (It would fill to rim then slowly empty.) There is no staff at that time of night, only an emergency number. We did not want to stay awake waiting so we went to bed. My GF slept little due to the noise from the other rooms. In the morning, we walked the 10 minutes or so to the main part of town. We went to a different hotel, and booked a room there. That room was light and modern. The staff spoke fluent English. It was right in the main part of town with plenty of restaurants nearby. I walked back to the Azur to check out. Since it was after 10:30am they charged us for 2 nights. They did not ask how our stay was or why we were leaving early. I thought they cut us a break of 20Euros because we left so early but I later received an email saying that was a mistake and they charged me the extra 20.
