It's a beautiful place, the food is really tasty and the location couldn't be better.
Unfortunately the staff, and in particular one person really made our stay quite unpleasant.
He was always saying stuff under his breath in Arabic with a slightly aggressive undertone when he crossed us, and when confronting him and asking what he said he simply did as if he said nothing with a smug smile. He aggressively takes away the plates from under you, slightly shoving you to the side out of nowhere, he also nearly impaled a friend's mouth while he was still eating a skewer, shoving the plate against his hand and with the metal skewer in his mouth. Which could've been an honest mistake, but a very dangerous one and that with a bit of attention would not have been possible.
He then at the end bluntly made a Chinese greeting to me, while saying made in China to me. I'm not Chinese, but even if I was, I don't need someone making fun of me, my heritage or nationality.
It's a pity, the other colleagues weren't actively participating, but they seemed to laugh as well at his jokes. It left a bitter taste to what should've been a great stay. Hope the hotel sorts this situation with the staff, as the actions of 1 staff member overshadows the hard work of everyone taking care of the rooms, the food, the facility,...
It could all be a misunderstanding, but I highly doubt it as we were with a big group and many felt the same. And even if it was, simply having the feeling that the staff is constantly insulting you under their breath shouldn't happen.
