Not good stay staff nice. Hotel outdated but flies OMG. Room full of them even after spray. Pool even a few people so over crowded. Ladder from pool almost break on getting out. Over crowded

We loved this hotel on the edge of the desert! We stayed one night after leaving a desert camp. The hotel rate included dinner and breakfast, both buffet style and both really nice. The pool area was lovely, our children thoroughly enjoyed swimming whilst we relaxed. Our family room was huge and well appointed, the air conditioning worked very well. The grounds were very lush and tropical, all rooms were on the ground floor. On the whole we would highly recommend Bab Rimal as a lovely stop off on the way to/from the desert.

We did not stay in the hotel, but it made very good impression and served good lunch. We went there to hire a 4x4 with driver/guide for a 2day trip to Chegaga desert, which service they offer. And it was amazing. Much recommended if you want a desrt experience far from the crowds.

Loved this hotel...the powerful shower was most welcome after spending 2 days cycling through the desert. The service was very nice and friendly. The food was buffet style plentiful and fresh...fab

Paradise. Fantastic location, great staff, good rooms. REALLY nice staff - I was ill and they went so far out of their way to help me. Food was good, shower was hot with good pressure (important when you've spent the day motorbiking in the desert) and the pool was delightful. Somewhere you could take the family.

It's a beautiful place, the food is really tasty and the location couldn't be better. Unfortunately the staff, and in particular one person really made our stay quite unpleasant. He was always saying stuff under his breath in Arabic with a slightly aggressive undertone when he crossed us, and when confronting him and asking what he said he simply did as if he said nothing with a smug smile. He aggressively takes away the plates from under you, slightly shoving you to the side out of nowhere, he also nearly impaled a friend's mouth while he was still eating a skewer, shoving the plate against his hand and with the metal skewer in his mouth. Which could've been an honest mistake, but a very dangerous one and that with a bit of attention would not have been possible. He then at the end bluntly made a Chinese greeting to me, while saying made in China to me. I'm not Chinese, but even if I was, I don't need someone making fun of me, my heritage or nationality. It's a pity, the other colleagues weren't actively participating, but they seemed to laugh as well at his jokes. It left a bitter taste to what should've been a great stay. Hope the hotel sorts this situation with the staff, as the actions of 1 staff member overshadows the hard work of everyone taking care of the rooms, the food, the facility,... It could all be a misunderstanding, but I highly doubt it as we were with a big group and many felt the same. And even if it was, simply having the feeling that the staff is constantly insulting you under their breath shouldn't happen.

The rooms are decent but what I would really like to commend are the view, the food and the staff. We arrived in the evening after an adventurous journey from the Sahara Desert so we were too tired. We were welcomed by the staff, special mention to Bari, who made sure we were really taken care of. The dinner was served in buffet style and we’ve especially enjoyed the salad varitations. The food were really delicious! We woke up the next morning with a wonderful view. It’s just unreal how we were able to have our breakfast at such picturesque view, the kind you see in the movies. The mountains surrounding the hotel and how they did the landscape all works together perfectly. Too bad our stay was short, but definitely recommend this place for relaxation and good food.

After an exciting and exotic night under the stars in the desert - it was SO wonderful to be arriving in Foum Zguid and the beautiful Hotel Bab Rimal!||||We were a group of 20 Norwegians - welcomed by the friendly owners, brothers Naji and Bari who were the perfect hosts! They spoke really good English and were genuinly interested in making sure we had a perfect time!||||As we arrived early - and as a group - the rooms were not ready - but not to worry! We enjoyed the sun and cold drinks in the shade of the hot sun. ||||Shortly after lunch arrived. Very tasty and plentiful. Extremely attentive staff - we felt really well taken care of throughout our stay.||||Really nice swimming pool and sunbeds. Birds singing - guests happy - relax and just enjoy!||||The rooms are in huts/bungalows and small stroll on paths from the pool area. No large steps - all on one floor. Very classy decorated - painted with the traditional tadelakht teqnique.||||Nice and large dinner buffet - just what the group wanted.||||There is a bar/lounge with TV - decorated in African style with huge Beni Ourain carpets on the floors - a dream for a Moroccan style interior lover!||||Very good breakfast before we relaxed a little by the pool - soaking up the atmosphere and this gorgeous place!||||Unfortunately we were moving on - could have stayed here for days... ||||Would LOVE to come back!
