I stayed here for an extended period and unfortunately experienced a persistent bedbug issue. Despite multiple treatments and being moved seven times between rooms and temporary accommodations, the problem was not resolved, and bites continued to occur.
The situation was distressing and disruptive. While initial treatments were attempted, the infestation was not eliminated. The on-site manager, Aggie, became dismissive ("maybe you're allergic to the bedsheets") and quite rude, and appeared frustrated with me for raising ongoing concerns rather than addressing the unresolved issue.
Temporary alternative accommodations were arranged, including a brief stay at another hotel. When those options were no longer available, I was told the bedbug issue had resolved on its own (despite no additional treatment) and was expected to return to the original room, with no compensation or alternative offered for the remaining paid-for period. Because I could not safely return, I was forced to secure other travel and accommodations at significant personal expense.
The approach taken to determine whether rooms were “bedbug-free” appeared to rely on having someone (known not to be sensitive to bedbugs) sleep in the room for a night and declaring it resolved if no bites were immediately noticed. As some people don't react to bites, this method is unreliable and contributed to the ongoing problem. Moving guests repeatedly between rooms during an active infestation also increases the risk of spreading bedbugs, which is what appeared to have occurred as the infestation spread.
During the same time, other rooms at the Bahnhof were also affected. When I refused to return, another guest with bedbug issues was placed in my original room and experienced significant bites, further demonstrating that the infestation had not been resolved.
Given the ongoing issue and the unprofessional handling of the situation, I would strongly caution against staying here.
