Hotel Balneari Termes Orion

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and it was amazing to have a spa included as part of your package. Definitely choose to go to the magma spa which you can indulge in three hours every day off pools and Jacuzzis, which make you feel very relaxed. We really also like the fact that the staff are so friendly and welcoming to us. The dinner was good and the breakfast was also very tasty. There are lots of places to sit outside on the patio and have drink or coffee whenever you like.

It’s mostly pleasant. Main reason to go there is the spa, if you don’t use those facilities it’s probably not worth it. The breakfast and dinner was delicious, but not many lunch options. Pool is nice. The decor is dated, and the stairs were dirty. No kettle in the room or anywhere to get water (the water in the rooms was tepid), so you had to buy it from the bar.

Hotel spa restaurant really nice. We’ve come back once as we we enjoyed our first stay. We took the access to the spa magma which is close and great (with classic hammam, sauna jacuzzis inside and outside). The restaurant is clearly gastronomique with amazing starters and deserts. Last year they used to have a gastronomical buffet. Now they changed and on Sunday and Monday it is classic gastronomical menu where you do not need to choose (just fish or meat) as they bring everything. Prices are quite different depending on the season.

Unfortunately, we never got the chance to stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were met with unfriendly looks, as if we didn’t belong there. One of the staff members rudely refused to assist us and simply redirected us to another receptionist. We never received a clear answer about the availability of a room for one night. We weren’t allowed into the restaurant, even though there were still people sitting inside — they just told us it was already closed. There’s no room service either. In the end, we just wasted time getting there and back — the hotel is located deep in some village forest. The hotel has a high rating, but we never got a chance to see why. Beautiful exterior, and that’s about it.

This is one of our favourite hotels - we love the ambience, clean, comfortable, quiet rooms, excellent food served in both restaurants. Good breakfast buffet.|The staff are all without exception friendly and efficient, making us feel very welcome.|A great place to relax and the Magma has to be tried.|We also enjoy walking in to the town for a drink and tapas lunch.|Good parking.|We look forward to returning.

Great hotel with good service and excellent dinners. Very nice and private small in-hotel spa. Enormous spa 500m away with variety of pools and facilities. Beautiful little alleyways inside the hotel. Excellent rooms, the child had his own separate section with single bed.

Fantastic hidden hotel in the Girona countryside can't fault anything, the pool is very good after travelling. Ypu need a car though

If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, this is the place to go to. Hidden in the middle of nature and surrounded by walking/running paths the palace like Hotel offers a beautiful pool, a nice Spa area (for which you have to pay extra), various chill areas to enjoy a good book and a restaurant where buffet breakfast and dinner are available (40€ for dinner buffet, which I find quite pricey for vegan option salad and guacamole). Unfortunately for vegans there are not too many options, however, based on which waiter you encounter, they might offer you a little extra treat. This place has an incredible potential seeing the facilities, it could be a 5 star hotel, however that would imply an upgrade in staff formation. Also the cleaning was not top, we even complained to the reception about it, but the next day nothing changed. For a tap-leak it took us 2 complaints and then 2 days to get it fixed. Nice but could be improved.
