Hotel Báltico 3***

The hotel is in a good position. Bedroom was a decent size and clean. Although it is true that there is a free public car park nearby, it was not possible for us to park there as there was no space available at any time during our visit. The nearest car park we found a spaces was 15 minutes walk away. The bed and pillow was quite hard.

Our room was very big and modern and looked over to the harbour. Room was very clean and well maintained. The harbour itself is very pretty with plenty bars and restaurants to choose from. We arrived by motorbike and they very kindly allowed us to park it in a small courtyard. Would recommend this hotel if you are staying in the area.

There are two hotels called Baltico, one is a 3-star and the other is a 2-star, they are located side by side on a corner of the harbour in a busy pedestrianised street and are under the same management. Both hotels share the same restaurant, which does not accept bookings and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.The 2-star hotel punches well above its weight and has several rooms with great views of the harbour but note not all rooms have a view. Its rooms have also been refurbished to a high standard (as of August 2022 when we stayed there). The service is good, the staff competent and friendly and the food is good and reasonably priced. The location is awkward to reach by car and there is no hotel car park, though there is limited parking available in a municipal car park nearby (though not available during second week in August because of local celebrations). I would thoroughly recommend the 2-star Baltico hotel and restaurant and the village of Luarco as a holiday destination.

This hotel is a gem ! The rooms are small, but VERY clean. Service from the staff is excellent and will provide you with recommendations on what to do and see in the area. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel (same owner and staff) is a great choice too. Good food and well priced. When visiting Asturias in the future we will stay at El Baltico again.

Fantastic location right on the harbour although we did not have a harbour view. Hotel allowed is to park our bikes in a small courtyard. Lovely room. Lots of bars and restaurants around the harbour. Had breakfast at the hotel tostadas coffee and juice for 3 euros

Nice small hotel with partial view to the little harbour. Modern nice and spacy room with small bathroom. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant Baltico nearby. Parking is possible on the public carpark 2 minutes from the hotel. As we did not travel in the high season it was very quiet.

Two fine hotels one ** and the other ***.|These hotels sit side by side with an alley separating the two directly across the road from the harbour.|We arrived mid afternoon, we stayed in *** although there was absolutely nothing wrong with the **, we just chose a larger room.|Friendly staff, clean and newish rooms, free parking for the motorbike - cannot fault this hotel at all.|It is a pleasant walk to the centre with several bars, restaurants and ice cream parlours along the way. |The weather was a perfect temperature although the small swimming area in the new harbour was of a pebbly grey nature. Not the perfect swimming location but there were beaches not too far away.|I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Luarca, as an overnight or longer stay. |There did not appear to be many tourist attractions in the area, also our Spanish not good and their English not very good so google translator has come in very handy and needed often.|Ann & John - Sydney Australia

Right on the harbour. We stayed in the modern annexe next door which is very new. Well designed rooms with all you need. The lift takes you straight out at street level. Parking is usually available in a small car park on the harbour. If not you must try and find street parking. The main public car park is a good distance away from the centre.
