Hotel Barceló Sants

The hotel is very modern, themed on space and orbits. Close to the station. The check in was friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a suite which was lovely. The rooms were large and furnished very well. It had a extra large kings size bed with good quality bedding. There was a sofa and arm chair plus a bucket space type chair. It had a dining table and four chairs, it had a small kitchenette with a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was very large with a walk in shower and a jacuzzi bath. There were two toilets. Plenty of storage space. The breakfast was buffet style offering a large selection of hot and cold choices. Throughout the hotel space and orbits decoration and artefacts are found.

We stayed overnight and loved it so much we booked again for a longer return trip. All the fittings are exceptionally modern, the bed was by far the most comfortable of our 6 week vacation. We also appreciated the delicious buffet breakfast with build-your-own omelet and home made yogurt. A large-scale refurbishment of the train station plaza is underway, which made it a little difficult to access the hotel entrance.

This space themed hotel is AMAZING! The rooms are cute & clean. The theme is so fun, it feels like you're on the moon. The breakfast is OUTSTANDING! Perfect place to stay if you're coming/going via the train station. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We were at the hotel for a convention and arrived in our small motorhome <6M parked it in the carpark for 3 days around €35 a day. The theme is of outer space and very clean and tidy , on arrival there's free Cava or water to drink, the rooms are also themed modern and futuristic but! The toilet and shower open directly on the bedroom and the bathroom sink and changing area is in the bedroom so NO Privacy. The location is good for the city as it's on top of the mainline station. Parking of course is really limited. The restaurant is bright and meals are Buffet style plenty of options but limited for vegetarians or vegans in the hot counters . Plenty of fruit and seeds and soy yoghurts, oat, almond and Soy milk. For usual eaters there is endless meats and cheese. Lunch is very similar with of course some fish even King Prawns and Langoustine. Overall the level of room care and service is excellent and difficult to fault, the food options could be wider (I never saw a mushroom) We also had group services and cakes at break times , again great and delicious with good service. It could be a good choice for reliability as long as the privacy issues don't cause an issue. Enjoy your trip

The rooms are very nice. The location is reasonably central and i like that it isn’t in one of the very touristy areas. Nearby you can feel that you are part of the city’s s population. My only complaint was that it is currently surrounded by construction and neither the staff nor signage helped me figure out how to come and go from the hotel. There are no staff near the exits to help. After the second day I found the most pleasant way.

We stayed at Barceló Sants during our women-only group tour in Spain, and it couldn’t have been more convenient. The hotel is literally above the main Sants train station, which made arriving from Madrid and catching local connections super easy and safe for our solo women travellers. Rooms were modern, spacious, and clean with all the essentials after long days of sightseeing.||Breakfast had a wide variety of options and plenty of healthy choices to start the day right. The lobby area was lively yet secure, and staff were polite and always willing to guide us with directions.||The only small downside is that since it’s above a station, you don’t get a “neighbourhood vibe” outside the hotel — but the convenience of location and safety more than made up for it. Just a short metro or taxi ride and you’re at La Rambla, Sagrada Família, or anywhere in central Barcelona.||For groups and solo women travellers looking for a safe, connected, and comfortable stay in Barcelona, Barceló Sants is an excellent choice.

We stayed at Hotel Barcelo as part of a package for the Monegros festival that we were going to. Since we were already there and were going to be in Barcelona for a few more days we booked another few days on top. During the booking it asked if we wanted to pay for breakfast. Hotel breakfast you say.. I passed. Well.. The festival package included it. So we got breakfast and OMG it was amazing. We went back to the front desk and added it for the rest of our stay. They had all the dried fruits, cereal grains, cured meats, cheeses, pastries, eggs, breads, cold pressed juices, a chef making omelets and more.. Best breakfast ever. Sorry, had to get that out of the way because it was definitely something to rant and rave about. The hotel itself was super cool.. 2001 space odyssey themed. They have a arcade style video game console in the lobby where you can play free games. We booked the Stratosphere Room which is the top floor.. It had a great view of the city and you could even see the Sagrada from our window. The location of the hotel was perfect. You can literally walk out the door and right in the door for the subway. So we could be to almost any part of the city in just a few minutes. Also, If you are coming from the Airport and get yourself a Hola Barcelona card you can take the subway to basically the front door of the hotel. You do have to switch lines at one point but it was convenient. Next time I'm in Barcelona, i will certainly book this again.

The hotel is directly on the top of a big metro/ railway station, and can access all attractions and airport very conveniently. The hotel uses an interesting space theme which both adults and kids should like. The room is clean and spacious. Nothing to complain about. Staff is friendly. Overall a very good hotel experience for me.
