I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone travelling in this part of Germany, in fact we were sorry that we could not stay longer. Peter, the host, was the most welcoming of owners, who had even arranged for our group of 10 cars to park in front of the hotel. The hotel rooms are very clean and modern and unlike many of the larger hotels we stayed they were able, without fuss, to provide gluten free and diary free alternatives at breakfast. I would go back again and would also recommend it to organisers of car clubs groups

We arrived late for checkin but we had called ahead of time to ket them know. Peter waited for us and greeted us by name. We stayed for 3 nights and every time we encountered Peter he addressed us by name, asking if breakfast was satisfactory, if we needed anything, offering directions. Our European holiday was 21 days, and Peter was by far the friendliest staff person / owner we met!||||An elevator was provided. The room had a nice bathroom with hair dryer. The bed was firm the way we like it, with lots of pillows. The room came with a mini fridge. It did not have air conditioning, but the large window opened all the way, so the heat was not much of an issue. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough. Breakfast was included in the room price and was very good. On site parking was no problem. The hotel was a 20 minute walk to the old city, past Roman ruins along the way.

We stayed here for four days and I was so pleased! The rooms are so clean and so is the entire hotel. The breakfast room is quaint. The rooms are modern and tastefully decorated. The hotel is not in the city center however two very good restaurants are a one minute walk from the hotel. The owner Peter is such a sweet man, sharing stories of history and offering ideas about where to sight see. It is not a full service hotel but I gave it five stars because for me a clean room in a safe area is a must. |I was accommodated very nicely when I requested a small fan for my room, which I need for white noise. Also parking can be tight but again the owner has provisions and you will always have a spot to park. Breakfast has a variety of foods, expresso, various cappuccinos, lattes. I would highly recommend this hotel!

This is a Very Nice Small German Hotel. The rooms, breakfast and staff are all excellent. As an American, I prefer one large bed to 2 twins, which is more typical in independent European hotels, and I find it odd that the front desk is only staffed from 8:00a-noon and 3:00p-6:00p, but these criticisms are cultural and should not be taken as a criticism of the property. For a small, independent, European property this hotels is Excellent.

Had a 2 night stay a this charming small hotel during a business visit to a local company. The parking is at the front and rear of the hotel. On our arrival the owner (Peter) greeted us out side to help us park and was very pleasant, friendly and informative about the local area. The room is spacious and clean. The bed and linen is very comfortable and the shower is nice and powerful and as hot as you like. Breakfast is of a good standard with plenty to choose from.|Thankyou very much Peter. Maybe we shall see you another time.

arrived later on in the evening, welcomes by Peter (owner I think) a real character and good fun, room handover was seemless, my room was very big and comfortable, I was at the front of the hotel by the traffic lights junction - no problem with the noise. we had dinner in the restaurant just a 1 min walk away - very friendly, menu had a great choice and the food was brilliant. At breakfast there was plenty of choice and everything was fresh - coffee was good! I had a walk around the town pre breakfast - beautiful and very clean. Cant wait to find a reason to go back!

Yelp
Recommended! On a work trip from the U.S., I chose this location for the more private and traditional setting. Great staff, good coffee, and nice breakfast.
