Hotel Bären Titisee

We really loved this place. Excellent breakfast and dinner, close to the station and only a short walk from the Titisee. But what is really outstanding? The service. It is very rare to be taken care of so well by a very skilled team. Always having a smile and willing to go the extra mile for the quests. Really excellent

We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and it was truly fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive from start to finish, making us feel well taken care of. We opted for the five-course menu, and every dish was not only absolutely delicious but also beautifully presented. A wonderful dining experience that we’ll remember!

I really want to give a great review, but...I simply can't give more than just 'ok'. Even for a top end place, some of the Hotel just didn't live up to even close to the price.||||I have to mention right up front, two people that were just absolutely Amazing: Nicole Neunz and Niklas Sauter! Thank you you two were great!||||There was also someone I spoke with on the phone, when making the reservation, sorry, his name escapes me, but the gentleman was nothing short of professional, accommodating, courteous and helpful. Thank you Sir, for all your assistance.||||Overall the hotel is nice, really, its well laid out and spacious without being ostentatious. The Bar area/lounge is great!!!! Over all there are some restorations need to be done; spot painting, keeping pictures and so on straight, little details in the rooms, etc. I mean, this is an upper end hotel, but the curtains in my room were so wrinkled they look like re-used, wadded up wrapping paper, that is something that simply should not be permitted. It all seems to lack a Quality Control presence for these things||||We were completely shocked and simply couldn't believe there is an extra cost for breakfast eggs other than simple fried, scrambled (I don't think these were fresh eggs, but instant or reconstituted) or boiled presented on the buffet. That is simply ridiculous for a hotel of this quality and price. That is something that should never happen at this level! And to make that even worse the fried eggs were, and I am not joking, swimming in grease. This is one of the the things where hotels can REALLY shine, but here, not so much.||||Now, the evening meals, the menus...Spectacular!!! Really, they were done so well and presented so nicely, it was a genuine pleasure to enjoy the dinner. And the food itself...was great! Nothing but compliments to the kitchen and the dining room staff...WELL DONE!||||Would I stay again, yeah, maybe. I am just really torn about the cost versus the little things that shouldn't be; the breakfast was a huge turn off and perhaps reason enough for me to stay somewhere else. We are in that area every three months, often more in the summer. We took a chance staying here, just not sure we would again.

I stayed at this hotel for a business meeting that was being held there. In short, the accommodations, food and attention to service were well above average. The room was very clean, large and with a great balcony / nice sitting area. Our team dined for all three meals at the hotel over our 3 day stay which was really the highlight of our stay. Service was very attentive, buffet very large and varied and lunch/dinner meals excellent and well presented. The hotel has great access to the town / lake and rail station. I would not hesitate to come back for business or holiday again. Overall, very enjoyable and hope to come back.

A gift 🎁 with a first time visit, Black Forest delivered magic scenery, local friendly service with a spin to local food with a touch of gourmet. Hard to pick a highlight super nice staff that walk us thru the premise. Good Spa installation, small barefoot path, and cute traditional little town

Incredible hotel! Restaurant was very good and the service was elegant--perfect for a special occasion. Standard room was modern and had a nice balcony. Sauna and pool were small but clean. The private spa was truly a luxurious experience. Location was great for the train. This place was an amazing base for us to ski/snowboard in the surrounding areas.

From the moment you step inside you are welcomed into their friendly, professional non pretentious world. Fantastic team ready to give a most relaxing enjoyable stay. They seem to be able to read your mind allowing you to really switch off and relax. Great menu choice which is aimed at little food waste. Wellness great and we had the pleasure of a massage which was top and adds to the relaxing feel. Thank you for the fantastic stay.

We currently stay here on short notice. The room is large and well equipped. The shower is strong unlike many other places. We took the chance to take semi board and it turned out to be the best decision. There is not much in decent restaurants except the usual pizza and Döner places. This said breakfast has it all. I do need to mention dinner. They are so accommodating and so friendly with every change one feels so welcome. Nothing seems to bring thermonuclear of balance. The kitchen put special meals vegan meals together for my wife. This goes a long way. Thank you. We can sincerely and highly recommend Hotel Bären, you will not be disappointed I guarantee it.
