Hôtel Barnea

What a great find in a superb location. Comfortable, clean, and quiet. The accommodation was perfectly decorated and has a lovely atmosphere close to all amenities and of course the wonderful beaches. Check in was very helpful and pleasant too. ||Felt like a local being in the heart of Biarritz.

Straightforward hotel, well designed small rooms, very friendly service. The room was very clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. Note that reception is not available all day long, and that there is no elevator.

Nice hotel in Biarritz. It has a great location, air conditioning and is very clean. Room also a good size. Quite simple for the price point.

We had a lovely three night stay at Hotel Barnea. The staff were very helpful and gave us good tips on restaurants and beaches when we checked in, and the location was fabulous! Very close to the main streets with restaurants, bars and shops. Very close to Plage du Port Vieux if you want to go for a swim. There is no lift which wasn’t a problem for us but something to be aware of if you have trouble with stairs.

A very nice small (boutique) hotel in a very good location. It is quiet in the night and you are still very close to the center and beach. We loved it!

A really delightful hotel in the centre of Biarritz and easy walking distance to the beach, shops, market hall and restaurants. We stayed here for four nights. A warm welcome by the friendly and very helpful young staff. The late check-in code was emailed as promised. A spotlessly clean room and comfortable bed. A good breakfast is available consisting of freshly squeezed orange juice, basque yogurts, cheese, cold meat, eggs, muesli, breads, croissant and pain au chocolate plus choice of hot drinks. We took the T1 bus to Bayonne for a enjoyable day out in this pretty town. We had a really wonderful few days in this beautiful part of France with it’s stunning coastline and views towards Spain. Happy days!

Lovely, friendly, clean hotel in a quiet location. Recently renovated. Room and bathroom spacious with all facilities.|Stayed for 4 nights. |Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and stay again.|Good value for money.|Not too far to walk to the centre of town, albeit uphill.

Wonderful hotel with lovely staff. A bit of a pain if you arrive on the first train from Paris during the 11am -4pm closing period with bags in tow. Other than than, great location and cleanliness!
