Hôtel Barrière L'Hôtel du Golf Deauville

I stayed here during the Deauville Film Festival. I was given a beautiful large room, view of golf course. Plenty of closet space + espresso machine. ||The mattress is the Most Comfortable Mattress in any hotel I’ve stayed at this year (I’ve stayed in an estimated over 100 hotels this year) - so this says a lot! ||Room service was excellent (photo attached)||Toilet separate from Shower. ||The hotel offered a shuttle service to/from city center which was extremely helpful. ||Rooms included complimentary Evian water and buffet breakfast.||Concierge & Porter service is excellent.

Needed a room in the Golf for one night only, i found their telephone booking system just too difficult so agreed to drive out of town to the hotel to make the booking face to face and check-in immediately if possible. Whilst waiting at Reception an extremely angry (very smartly dressed) couple were checking out, bitterly upset that their complaint about a smell in their room had not been handled correctly by the hotel management. That should have been a warning to me. I then spent 30 - 40 minutes having difficult conversations with the reception staff over what was the best room rate available until i finally lost patience with their lack of flexibility and officious manner in dealing with a customer so left and stayed elsewhere.

We have stayed at this hotel many times! Perfect for couples and with children :) the breakfast is great, the rooms are great. When we booked with our baby everything was set up perfectly to take care of her as well as a bed and treats for our dogs!

A very friendly and welcoming team are there to begin your stay. A very well-maintained hotel with beautiful furnishings and the staff could not have been more helpful. |We were shown personally to our room having been given a tour of the hotel facilities ie the restaurant, soma and pool. |The room was ample in size (a superior room on the fourth floor) and the bathroom /shower room was very generous. There was a wonderful view over the golf course snd open air swimming pool. |We decided to enjoy the three course meal in the restaurant. The food was outstanding. Plenty of choice to suit all palettes. The staff could not have been more attentive and helpful and made the evening feel very relaxed and enjoyable. |Breakfast was of a first-class standard with a choice of freshly-cooked eggs. My husband has never had such beautifully fried eggs ( fried in cacao butter - much healthier!).|Outside of Deauville but only a few minutes drive away to tranquility and peace with a magnificent view over the town of Deauville, the beach and the bay. Totally and highly recommend staying here.

Located in a beautiful area but way overpriced for a deluxe room with sea view. 700€+/night and you get a very cheap room with no AC (you have to upgrade to a suite for double the price to get it :) The swimming pool is very small and too cold (despite visiting in August) Breakfast, Hammam, Gym and staff (from kids club, parking and breakfast) were very nice.

Staff willing to help. They don’t have WiFi in the club house which was sad as a non-playing golf partner. Although the restaurant was shut on the day we visited, they made us a nice vegetarian baguette. All the golfers in our group enjoyed the course

We went to this magnificent hotel last week. |We took a deluxe suite with view on the golf course.|The suite has large windows so we can see from the room the green meadows and the blue sky.|The hotel is very quiet during the night, so we can have a relaxed holiday.|The hotel’s breakfast buffet is beyond our expectations.|There was a large variety of ham, sausages, smoked salmon, Normandy cheese, breads, fruits, home made fruits tarts, cakes, crepes and pancakes.|There is also a chef ready to make a personalized version of omelette for you.|Adjacent to the hotel, there is the clubhouse restaurant, where the food was just amazing.|During high season(from Easter to summer included), the hotel provides a daily shuttle bus until late, it runs to and from the Normandy Hotel (an icon in Deauville) and the Casino. Both are located in downtown Deauville and by the beach.|During the low season the shuttle bus runs only during weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

Beautiful hotel set on a golf course, we really enjoyed our stay here in May. The rooms were lovely, the beds were very comfortable and breakfast was great. It’s a great location only 5/10 mins drive away from Deauville, they have a shuttle that takes you to the town and back for free. My only small complaint is that the person who cleaned the room always moved my items around, although that might not bother other people. The room was always cleaned well and most of the staff were friendly.
