Hôtel Barrière Lille

We had a great stay. The hotel staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. The hotel suite was very nice. All good there but..I gave 4 points..because of the resto, la Terrasse du Parc, we had in our package from Weekend desk.It was not good at all. Again the staff was friendly but the food was awful. The resto has the ambiance of a canteen. The breakfast was also 'comme ci comme ca'. That was such a pity. Avoid this resto and your stay will be a 5 out of 5!

My sister and I stopped here whilst InterRailing. It was her first little holiday after her husband died and also her first InterRail holiday. We wanted a little luxury to smooth the way. Byway Travel booked us in here. GOOD CHOICE.||We loved the hotel and Lille. 10 mins easy walk from Lille Europe Railway Station. Similar to the Old Town||Very welcoming at check in and they allowed us to keep our rooms a little late as our onward train was an hour after check out. And we were so lucky to be upgraded on the return visit and had lovely views of the gardens behind the hotel. But even the road facing rooms on 9th floor were quiet. ||Huge bed. Like sleeping on a cloud. Housekeeping standards high, with excellent attention to detail. Excellent spacious shower. Good shower products. Well laid out for travelling. Wall to ceiling windows meant plenty of light poured in.||Staff were all super professional and delightfully warm.||Breakfasts were really REALLY good. Huge selection. ||Next time (& there will be a next time!) we will eat dinner in the restaurant which I think is on the first floor overlooking the gardens.||The only thing I would wish for is that they had twin rooms. I’d love to stay for longer but it gets a bit expensive when we both have separate rooms.||Thank you and a big well done!

Tour de France accommodations to perfection. To be going, going every day, we felt totally cared for. Breakfast daily buffet full of hot/cold/fruits/breads/sweet breads/jams/yogurts/coffees/cappuccino’s, etc. linen table ware and lovely setting. Eggs/sausages/crepes & pancakes. THEN, the ROOM! Plenty of space, divine bedding, Nespresso, sound sleeping, plug-in’s, and quiet. How do they do this? Daily housekeeping magic when we return. Dinners with same types of options, a bar and outdoor patio for relaxing. . .

Exceptional service - the reception team were warm and welcoming. They seemed genuinely happy to greet us and to help. The room was spacious and comfortable, and spotless - brilliant housekeeping team! The hotel is well located too - a few minutes easy walk to the Eurostar terminal and just ten mins walk into the historic centre.

Dear colleagues-travellers ,when you choose 5star hotel you expect to receive all the comfortables of servises.. That's why you choose 5star and you pay...This is not happened with Barrier hotel in city Lille in French.We booked the hotel by booking home as they say that is 5star..First time in my life I met 5star hotel not to working the bathroom .We cannot make bath ,we cannot wash face and to clean our teeth. We complained they try to repair but unsuccessful.Again the same problems .We asking to change room but they did not change...I ask everybody ...if someone have seen in 5star not to working the bathroom... Unbelievable!!!!!!!! I will never visit the same hotel in every place and I dont suggest to anybody.

What can I say, other than we had another great stay here. We got the exact room that we had requested and we were delighted to see some little gifts left for us, thanking us for our loyalty. Who wouldn’t be loyal to a hotel that provides excellent service, very comfortable rooms, good restaurants, bars and casino, all for such a reasonable price. A very short walk from getting off Eurostar and your holiday begins.|A big thank you to all the staff.|See you soon 😊

Great option for staying in Lille. Close to the train stations and a relatively easy walk into the center of town. The hotel is very modern and clean with comfortable rooms.

Nice rooms, but bar closes at 23:00 which is far too early. Room service was too busy to order too but reception staff didn't seem to care.
