Central, on a main street, easy walk to everywhere, cafes, restaurants, butcher, boulangerie. Clean. Great service staff at all levels. Great guest facilities, including coffee machine and fresh fruit plus water machine. Indoor & outdoor seating areas. Spacious rooms, spotlessly clean. Good shower, comfy mattress & pillows. Noise blocking French door windows that open wide for fresh air and street views. Good Buffet breakfast.

I loved staying in this hotel and felt very safe and comfortable as a single female traveler. Although my room was small (like most places in Paris) it was clean, well maintained and decorated. It had everything I needed for a short stay. I also loved the location which was surrounded by cute restaurants, cafes and vintage stores. I plan to be back!

Once again I stayed hotel Basss on my recent vacation in the beautiful city of Paris which I love so very much. Hotel Basss is a lovely hotel with excellent customer service and hotel amenities. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I was able to check in a little earlier which I really appreciate. Thank you Hotel Basss staff including their housekeeping staff. ALL was Amazing!! Thank you most kindly

Great property in Montmartre, rooms are small but that’s everywhere in Paris, although I felt very comfortable in my room. Luis-Felipe at the front desk was delightful. Without a doubt I will return to this hotel on my next visit. I was lucky enough to have a view of the Eiffel Tower from my room.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Basss. My wife and I were very pleased with all aspects of our stay. The hotel is not a 5 star but it is not intended to be. It has good clean rooms. The hotel is very quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The lady working the breakfast bar was exceptionally helpful. We would stay again any time.

Hotel Basss was lovely! The room was beautiful and well designed. The location was great and easy to walk to restaurants and shops. The Basss team was friendly and helpful. Specifically Louis, at the front desk, was a wealth of knowledge and recommendations and made me feel so welcome.

I have to start by saying that the staff were very good and very friendly, nothing of this is attributed to them.||||The hotel however is awful! I have travelled extensively for work and pleasure and this ranks right at the bottom, on arrival the floor of our room was filthy and sticky underfoot, was a hard floor so no excuses about carpet, talking of carpet the hallways of hotels are not renowned for being clean but this one looked like it was the scene of a crime….the beds were terrible, rock hard and the pillows made of reinforced concrete and cricked necks were the order of the day! We hardly slept….||||Now onto the shower, it ran scalding hot and freezing cold on a whim and the black grout disintegrated and ran down over your feet in the shower tray…..||||I have stayed in low rent places but this was priced at £250 a night so hardly cheap….||||We are leaving today and can’t wait to get home, I usually stay in La Lanterne or the Coq Hotel which are lovely but they did not have availability….||||Avoid this place like the plague!

Loved this hotel so much! I stayed five years prior before the renovation and it was lovely then, but even better now! Friendly staff, ideal location (Montmartre is beautiful), and super rooms. Small but cosy vibes, sleek yet sophisticated. Mathilde is a queen!

Yelp
Excellent, charming boutique hotel in the heart of Montmartre. Rooms are a good size (especially for Paris), with comfortable beds and a decent amount of places to hang clothes. Bathroom was immaculate with a nice shower. Front desk staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. Hard to beat the location, in the heart of Montmartre. Tons of great little cafes and pastry shops (but the restaurants and bars open late into the night, so be aware that you might hear a lot of happy people when you're getting ready for bed). 10 minute walk to Sacre-Coeur (and the walk itself is really scenic and pleasant), 5-6 minute walk to nearby Metro stops like Blanche and Abbesses. Be aware that the walk from Blanche is a little uphill, and the Abbesses station has a seemingly endless staircase (so use the lift there). The only negative I encountered was that the ground floor (where the front desk and breakfast cafe is) often had a bathroom-y smell. This did not extend to the upper floors where the guest rooms are. But overall, I would highly recommend this hotel, and I would also highly recommend staying in Montmartre when visiting Paris.

Yelp
I found a GREAT deal on Travelzoo for the hotel Basss, which I had to prepay, but that was fine! I was a little reticent to stay in the Montemarte, as it is a bit of hike from the traditional tourist spots, but I ended up LOVING it. The charming neighborhood feel was well worth the 20 minute or so metro ride into town. (A couple of nights we took taxis, which were about 15 euros from the center of paris.) The hotel itself is small, but totally fit our needs. On trip advisor there are lots of complaints about room sizes, but I think we lucked out and had a room on the 6th (top) floor, which had an adorable balcony overlooking the rooftops of Montemarte! Such a dream. Yes, the room was smaller than you are probably used to, with limited storage for clothes, but the bathroom was sized well and the wifi was great. All the employees were super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast spread was honestly great and super filling. I would totally recommend this place to friends travelling to Paris, especially if you can get a great deal

Yelp
Hotel staff is lovely, very helpful, and speak English pretty well. The hotel is clean and modern, and in a terrific spot in Montmartre - walking distance from Sacré-Cœur, as well as Pigalle, which has Moulin Rouge and other fun sights. Metro from both Blanche and Pigalle stops are really close. Side note: the hotel rooms are SUPER small. Pack light. Would recommend this place 100%.
